Disney is falling back into the habit of sucking up to fascists, and my wife and I came to the decision that they are not going to get a penny of our money until they straighten up their act. When is was a wee child and empathy abounded, our family went to the tar pits where I witnessed a dove get stuck in a pit and slowly sink.

My pity for the poor animal enveloped me in misery, and my parents soon ushered me away when I expressed a desire to save the doomed animal, but I'm much better now for lack of empathy.

Nonetheless, please don't take your kids to the tar pits.

If I were a bachelor I wouldn't be spending a penny on Disney. My wife likes the $5 subscription and I wouldn't try to persuade her otherwise.

I believe the stockholders of Disney think the dollar is more important than the 1st amendment. Or they might say the first amendment isn't their responsibility. I don't blame them very much. I don't think the FCC serves the public if it participates in a prevention of dissent. I believe that egg is hatching in front of us now.

My daughter was a big dalmatian fan... stuffed animals and what-not. I started boycotting Disney after she went to see 101 Dalmatians. She come home telling me Pongo was married to Perdita. So I went to get the book but the book was not be had. All the bookstores had the Disney version. I had to send to England for the original Dodie Smith book, The Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Pongo married to Perdita indeed. Was Pongo a bigamist? Poor Missis forced to watch this. It's too horrible to contemplate.

The only thing I can think of that I pay for that pertains to Disney is Hulu. My subscription was on pause until tonight when it auto-unpaused (which is one thing that prompted this thread). Otherwise, I wouldn't have renewed. Not because of a boycott or anything - just because I don't watch a lot of Hulu anymore and it's not worth it to pay for it every month. Plus, Disney has been really annoying with all of those dumbass remakes.

I don't know about Josie, but I'd pay for Disney out of gratitude alone if I didn't already have the money earmarked for Trump, and while it may seem we are fast becoming friends, Trump says Democrats are evil, and I cannot be friends with an evil person.
