More examples of accusing people of racism for no reason.
Argued this is because of racial bias. They speculated.Actually it's not.
The Government's own date shows that Black and Asians are four times more likely to be stop and searched and a report done by the Metropolitan Police Authority argued the source of this is because of racial bias.
Speculation again. No proof. The police are institutionally racist.
Both bolded items of discussion above are a cultural problem that is not the responsibility of anyone but those individuals involved.
Single Parent? Cultural Problem. Nobody rolled the dice and made her a single parent, She got pregnant and had a kid with a guy who wasn't interested in her and now she is in a bad spot. Its called birth control.
Low income, Should have stayed in school, payed attention in school and worked hard to go to college and get a better job.
The opportunity is there, and many suceed. They aren't the "lucky" ones, they are the ambitious ones who made it despite a bad social setting.
You can't say, "You can't blame someone living in the low-income ghetto for getting involved in gangs or dropping out." But in reality, they are the ones who made that decision.
Its time we start holding people accountable for their actions, and as parents raising then to make the right decisions instead of blaming society and WHITEY.
Don't need to accuse the Met of anything.
They know and have admitted they have alot of problems when it comes to racism.
Single out two phrases and make a paragraph concerning that ... awesome.
Ignore the general point of my post. Even better.
I'm well aware that individual responsibility comes into play here

Comes into play?
Individual responsibility and lack of accountability is the REASON for all your statistics.
That is MY speculation. You can claim others are racist all you want, I'll claim the individuals involved are a part of a breakdown into a criminal culture.
Minorities have a lack of respect for Police that they aquire through cultural means.

No.
It's just not good enough for you the evidence
Clearly it happened because Black/Asians asked to get stop and searched 70% more. That means nothing
The police are still instititionally racist, not much has changed except it's just more undercover.
Police 'still institutionally racist' - Telegraph
But to be very fair to the police, it has changed from the time of Stephen Lawrence. I mean, now they actually investigate when someone dies rather than be 100% incompetent. Always a thumbs up and who says I don't give kudos
I would argue a lack of respect for any authority, not just police.
So you believe all news articles written with a bias?
I give respect when it is due.
No doubt it is the same for any other individual.
:lamoyou would be sadly, incorrect. the problem is that too many minorities are totally clueless as to when respect is due. they don't think that anyone but themselves are due respect
.... the overuse of stop and search techniques against black and multi-ethnic groups.
And some police forces are still "dragging their feet" when it comes to recording and reporting racist crimes, it was claimed.
It raised concerns about the disproportionate number of black and Asian people stopped and searched in most force areas, the high proportion of black men recorded on the DNA database
Must have missed it.
No problem tho.
:lamo
Source to support that?

:2bigcry: big freaking whoop, if you are stopped and you are not guilty of anything then what real harm has been done?
Minorities who have a lack of respect for police often acquire it through cultural means.
Your sentence indicates racial bias. ;-)
Love ya', Caine. Couldn't help myself.
your attitude in this thread is all the source I need.
I would argue a lack of respect for any authority, not just police.
