What are you disputing here, specifically? The conquering of N & S America was due to? What in your opinion if not a population decimated by up to 90% by disease. Again you post out of ignorance imagining that all natural and culture influences were equal. They were not. Again, cultures developed technology based on need and available resources. Europeans/Mid east had 10s of thousands of years head start, stemming from moving outward from the Fertile Crescent. Read a book.

Tropical societies didnt need to depend on that level of agriculture or the technologies and innovation it precipitated.

And be specific about your point about Shaka...dont forget, the continent of Africa is massively bigger than the European continent.

Any real debate, IMO should be based entirely on reaching agreement on HOW we should be governed, NOT on WHO a majority will allow to make decisions for us.

I inserted "the visuals"....

"...The book was obtained and excerpted in advance by CNN, with reporting and analysis by Dan Merica, Kevin Liptak, Jeff Zeleny, David Wright, and Rebecca Buck.

Their report opens with President Obama’s assessment of Trump’s use of race in his rise to political prominence:

Barack Obama directly confronts the racist politics of President Donald Trump in the first volume of his post-presidency memoir, bluntly suggesting how he believes his historic election in 2008 opened a wave of bitter and divisive turmoil that fueled Republicans’ obstructionism and ultimately changed the party, according to a copy of the book obtained by CNN.

Elsewhere in those excerpts, Obama writes that Trump isn’t that different from other Republican leaders, with a key exception.

there wasn’t much difference between Trump and Boehner or McConnell. They, too, understood that it didn’t matter whether what they said was true,” Obama writes in the book. “In fact, the only difference between Trump’s style of politics and theirs was Trump’s lack of inhibition.”

He also reveals that race played a role in his decision to frequently send then-Vice President Joe Biden to Congress as an emissary.

“One of the reasons I’d chosen Joe to act as an intermediary — in addition to his Sente experience and legislative acumen — was my awareness that in McConnell’s mind, negotiations with the vice president didn’t inflame the Republican base in quite the same way that any appearance of cooperation with (Black, Muslim socialist) Obama was bound to do,” Obama wrote, according to CNN.

Jesus H Christ. What is it with you guys who think white people are the scum of the Earth?

I'd love to be able to agree with this. Your sig, however, suggests that your opinion is yet another product of Fantasyland.

Calm down and re-read what he actually said, not what your imagination is telling you that he said.

I'm tired of lefties telling me that I have white privilege and should be ashamed of myself.

You obviously didn't read what post had to say. Go back and reread the words he actually wrote, not the words that your imagination is telling you he wrote.

This country exists because of white males. Your welcome for modern western civilization.
They didnt do it alone. It took other people to right those wrongs and make those propaganda words the founders didnt even practice become a reality. The upper crust (which is what the founders were) could have done it without the slave trade but they didnt, the most lowly worker feeds the most wealthy real estate speculator.

I don't care what the words are. I'm simply making a statement that I'm sick of the left telling me I have white privilege and should be ashamed of myself.

All you care to focus on right now is yourself. You're not ready to read post's post (haha) to read what he said. You're literally afraid to digest it.

Feel free to prove me wrong with your actions. I am not going to hold out hope.

Its akin to the whole blame the jews thing. Sometimes its not about the content, but what the message accomplishes.

Do you think I have white privilege and should be ashamed of myself?

And there it is. The baited question.

Go read post's post slowly, with emphasis on thorough comprehension. Then, and only then, I will decide whether to engage in your white narcissism.

Until then, I leave you to drown in it.

I mean ever since the enlightenment it was seriously off the rails. Back during the medieval feudal structure of state imposed theocracy under a monarchical system, it was far better

lol.

Move to Tonga, then.

Oh, wait. They won't let you in.

Lol.... back then the underclass couldnt get an education.

. The peasants wanted to own their own labor and be rid of the parasitical inbred freaks the church considered god ordained. The peasants wouldnt have joined in rebellion if they were happy, they rebelled because they wanted the shared land to be controlled by themselves because they worked the land, not the nobility who leached off their labors. If not for the monarchy’s and the church’s suppression of knowledge, we would have had revolution sooner. The naturalistic fallacy is the last refuge of those that have no argument.

The white men make up the history, the rules that cause them to remain in power, then convince everybody that the reality we live in came from some God.
Then when they lost the god excuse, they resorted to the genetic stock argument.

LOL. Yes, you leave me to drown in my white privilege that I should be ashamed of while there are millions of blacks in America who are doing far better than I am. (by the way, good for them. I'm proud of them). I really am. That is what America is all about.

Couldn't understand any of the poll choices so I politely abstain.
I am with you. The op premise is a steaming pile unworthy of even cursory examination.

"Individual's" sig... a quote from William F Buckley. Of course, this is purely coincidental, but I find it interesting. Buckley's father-in-law,
Col. Austin C. Taylor, advocated for and presided over west coast Canadian, Japanese internment.

Father of Patricia Taylor Buckley :
... Wartime Service... During World War II, Major Taylor was appointed chairman of the British Columbia Security Commission, a provincial government agency created to manage Japanese Canadian internment. As well, he served as one of C.D. Howe's dollar-a-year men.[8] In recognition of his service, Taylor was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire.[9]

Taylor, RCMP Assistant Commissioner Frederick J. ... Accordingly, the Nisei were legally never interned, but "detained at the ..."

Anyway, isn't Obama admitting he miscalculated and in hindsight, the damage to the country and to his family life is as much his fault, owing to his experience influenced belief from serving in both the Illinois and in the U.S. Senate, that it would be possible as POTUS to reach across the aisle and successfully solicit cooperation, as it is the fault of those who, in reaction to Obama's rise, encouraged tea party activism and support of Trump?

I got the impression from his writing that, in hindsight, he would not have leveraged his charisma to pursue and achieve the office of POTUS because the white voting majority was, and isn't ready to accept racially diverse, power sharing. The cost was just too high, now we know where the white voting majority really is, what it is capable of... Trump is not going away.

Interning the Japanese was justified, so I’m not sure what your point is. If you’re an alien in a country at war with your actual home country you can expect to be detained.

You realize most of those people were American citizens, right?
