Ben Shapiro is a bit out of touch. I am a gay man so I don't agree with him on much about this stuff.Ben shapiro said he wants to MAKE ILLEGAL MEN DRESSING LILE WOMEN
I never suggested that I didn't understand that the word has historically been used as a slur. I've made it very clear from the beginning that was understood. I was really just correcting you on your assertion that using "queer" as a self-label had only been a thing for the last 10 years, when it's actually been a thing for a century.so you understand you just pretending you don't
No, it can still be used as a slur. It's just words can have more than one meaning, they teach us that in elementary school. Your argument is like saying "cool" can't mean "good" because it means "of a low temperature."then nothing is. There is no such thing as a slur we just made up that word for nothing at all to describe nothing at all.
I have so many questions.Love me some hot femboys.
Shapiro is deep in the closet himself if he is worried about the subject.Ben shapiro said he wants to MAKE ILLEGAL MEN DRESSING LILE WOMEN
Queer is a slur. You made no points.I never suggested that I didn't understand that the word has historically been used as a slur. I've made it very clear from the beginning that was understood. I was really just correcting you on your assertion that using "queer" as a self-label had only been a thing for the last 10 years, when it's actually been a thing for a century.
Dumb pointNo, it can still be used as a slur. It's just words can have more than one meaning, they teach us that in elementary school. Your argument is like saying "cool" can't mean "good" because it means "of a low temperature."
Wow next time I'm in England I'll really give a shit about this. When I've visited relatives in England, I heard some version "I'm gonna go out for f*g" many times, and I didn't cry "that's a slur, you can't say that!"
Then ask.I have so many questions.
Queer can be a slur, we agree. I think one little point was that...you were wrong about it being only becoming a self-label over the past 10 years when it's been used by gay men for a century. Little one though...not a big deal.Queer is a slur. You made no points.
I mean, a lot of them look very...like teenage girls in anime costumes. Is that the general vibe? Then ask.
Okay thenQueer can be a slur, we agree.
psst....and you were wrong about it being only becoming a self-label over the past 10 years when it's been used by gay men for a century.Okay then
People can label themselves as a slur. I remember going to a lesbian bar upstairs with wife performed at and they called it the Texas City Dyke. That's a slur they labeled themselves that.psst....and you were wrong about it being only becoming a self-label over the past 10 years when it's been used by gay men for a century.
I didn't see your question about femboys. Also, you didn't answer my question about the femboys.
Except I have repeatedly said that "queer" can be used as a slur, and you even pointed out that we agree. Just the part that you don't seem to agree with is that words can have more than one meaning, and context can dictate that. But you don't like people using "queer", I get it, and I respect that. We will agree to disagree. This will be our "Christmas truce."It doesn't change the fact that the words is a slur unless you deny the existence of a word that is a slur which seems to be what you're trying to do.
Here it is: "I mean, a lot of them look very...like teenage girls in anime costumes. Is that the general vibe?"I didn't see your question about femboys.
All right well it's used to describe a person that's not heterosexual it's being you is this a slur. When it's used to describe how you're ruining a deal as in queering a deal it's not a slur still negative though.Except I have repeatedly said that "queer" can be used as a slur,
No that's not where I'm disagreeing I actually gave you a second meaning of the word above so quit making up false arguments and pretending I'm making them.and you even pointed out that we agree. Just the part that you don't seem to agree with is that words can have more than one meaning,
I think if it's an LGBT person saying that about themselves it's self-hate. If it's a straight person saying a bit about themselves it's self-hate but for being straight.and context can dictate that. But you don't like people using "queer", I get it, and I respect that.
Fair enough. We will agree to disagree. This will be our "Christmas truce."
I don't know how I was supposed to know that was about femboys. Here it is: "I mean, a lot of them look very...like teenage girls in anime costumes. Is that the general vibe?"
Go back to this post: https://debatepolitics.com/threads/are-transgender-people-the-gateway-to-the-lgbtq-community-as-the-jews-of-trump’s-movement.557327/post-1080805301I don't know how I was supposed to know that was about femboys.
Cool. Androgyny can certainly be a vibe. The schoolgirl anime costume, though? Is that just is what's most popular? For me the vibe is they're men.
When you ask me a question out of context I can't know what it's about you asked me a question out of context the fact that you're having to point back to it earlier post to clear it up means you asked a question out of context.
I'm not sure who you're talking about.Cool. Androgyny can certainly be a vibe. The schoolgirl anime costume, though?
I'm not sure what you're talking about. Is that just is what's most popular?
You said:When you ask me a question out of context I can't know what it's about you asked me a question out of context the fact that you're having to point back to it earlier post to clear it up means you asked a question out of context.
You get defensive easily. I wasn't "putting anything on you." I was asking a question, because I did a brief google image search and was shown a particular type of aesthetic. Anime seems to be an inspiration, and in anime the knee-high socks and pleated short skirts are of school-girl inspiration. I wanted to know if this is a popular aesthetic, or the overall femme boy culture is more diverse stylistically than that.Fanboys are guys that dress up like women and that have the features that you might not know that really men. So I don't get your obsession with teenagers and maybe that's something you need to seek therapy about but you're not going to put it on me.
There's no rule to say your daughter has to win every game. Blaming a plyaer you think must be trans because they're exceptionally good is pretty low.It was a problem back then too. Most said so at the time.
But you didn't have fully intact biological men who were obviously men styling themselves as women and walking into spas and restrooms back then. If they did, they would have been arrested. Now it's literally illegal for the management to stop them in some jurisdictions.
For example, my daughter plays high school basketball. Just yesterday her team played against another team with a male. This happens a lot here in the San Jose CA area - about every third match. He was faster, stronger and more aggressive than anyone else out there. One girl on my team had to limp off the court after he collided with her going for a loose ball. Luckily he was a lousy shot, but we still lost by one point. If he had not been out there, we would have easily won by double-digits.
How the left, who preens themselves about their commitment to fairness, stands by smiling benignly when this happens is a mystery. Or maybe not. Maybe their commitment to fairness is just more situational.
Sometimes I wish moving the goalposts was banned.
We'll never know if my daughter's team would have won without the legalized cheating on the other side. That's not the point. The point is there should be a rule that limits girls basketball to girls. There was the case for forever until the left decided to change that one day and expected everyone to just go along. There's no rule to say your daughter has to win every game. Blaming a plyaer you think must be trans because they're exceptionally good is pretty low.
This wasn't in response to the Post where I said I like femboys it was in response to where I said queer is a slur how was I supposed to know what you had questions about. You said:
"Love me some hot femme boys"
I said (while clearly quoting you):
"I have so many questions"
How is it at all in any contextYou said:
"Okay then"
How is that out of context?
Yeah you were putting something on me it's okay it's happened ever since I came out.You get defensive easily. I wasn't "putting anything on you." I was asking a question, because I did a brief google image search and was shown a particular type of aesthetic.
I've seen a handful of anime and I'm not familiar with this school girl thing.Anime seems to be an inspiration, and in anime the knee-high socks and pleated short skirts are of school-girl inspiration. I wanted to know if this is a popular aesthetic, or the overall femme boy culture is more diverse stylistically than that.
If consider him to be emo but there is overlap. When I was younger there was a band I loved called Placebo, and the lead-signer, Brian Molko, had kind of a femme boy aesthetic (not nowadays so much). But he was kind of goth/posh/brat girl london vibe. Which I always thought was very cool.
There's some less justification for boys playing on girls teams. I don't care if that identify as cats you don't get to use a litter box. There's no rule to say your daughter has to win every game. Blaming a plyaer you think must be trans because they're exceptionally good is pretty low.
