Last evening, I noticed a change to the display on the IPad. It’s an IPad PRO, second generation.

It’s about the bar at the top of the window that displays active tabs. Used to be, if I had five active tabs, they were displayed in the bar in five equal segments. All of a sudden, the active tab labels became icons and moved to the far left of the bar.

This morning, there was another change. A row of icons (recently visited,) shows up just above the tabs bar.

Anyone have any ideas if I fat fingered something or an update? The missus has an older model and her display didn’t change.

Pic example: First white arrow was last night’s change and the second one is this morning’s addition.

It's an Apple. If you're not happy with the upgrade, buy a new one.

The Favorites bar got turned on. Easy enough to turn off.

Go into the Settings app.

Scroll down to Safari.

Find “Show Favorites Bar” and turn it off.

That gets me here:
Still no “X” to close the ‘start page’ tab and the icons are still grouped in the upper left.

Thanks, so far.
