If AOC, and a couple of her friends are the next generation of leaders, keep it coming because a Presidential candidate has to answer questions and AOC is in trouble as these interviews show.
Don't have to watch it all, but catch a few clips of her under the gun.

None of that matters. The presidential election is nothing but a popularity contest, and she is very popular.

Just take a gander at the world's "leaders". Practically all of them are idiots.

She is not a candidate. Democrats are not running a woman again. The glass ceiling is still intact.

If a crook like Donald can get elected over a well qualified candidate like Harris it is obvious there is too much chauvinism still existing to win with a woman.

Ironically, Republicans could probably win with a woman candidate if she was extreme enough and possessed Donald's gift of con gab.

But Republicans would never wise up enough to elect someone more sensible like Liz Cheney.

Nutty MTG would stand a better chance than Liz.
 
Nope, no more experimental candidates. Enormously qualified non-traditional candidates lost in 2016 and 2024 to a comically unqualified and horribly dangerous fool. It's gonna have to be a dynamic and exceptionally entertaining white guy. Our society is backwards and has the attention span of a sprayed gnat falling to its death. Obama was a fluke riding a situational wave.

There's much better Governors out there that would be much more electable for the Dems.
 
Never forget, the three branches of government are the presidency, the house, and the senate, and ROOsevelt won all three.

That said, you have to give her credit. She was stuck bartending and took a chance that paid off. She even said she put a lot of her primary campaign in 2018 on credit cards that she wouldn't have been able to pay back if she lost. She won, and now she's set for life.

Also Obama had a special blend of truly exceptional charisma and oratory skill that is as of yet unmatched to the point it overwhelmed the downside of being mixed race; I agree that his achievement will be extremely hard to duplicate and would require someone even more gifted to pull off in this current climate.
 
That video is 7 years old. Her political career had just begun. Ya'll had to dig deep.

I missed her hatred of Israel somehow.

I would indeed stan Mr. Stewart's run for president; if Trump can assume the highest office twice, there is less than zero reason he cannot.

I love AOC threads. I really do. I love watching supposedly grown men turn themselves inside out trying to find ways to ridicule and belittle her.
I think of MTG, or on the left, Maxime Waters. I mean there are some gawd awful female public figures on both sides.
Unfortunately the men are worse, everyone from Ted Cruz to Andrew Cuomo to DJT.

All my life I have experienced the same thing. If a girl was smart, and especially if she was drop dead gorgeous, there would always be that group of insecure guys who knew they could never be in the same room with her that had to bring her down.

But this absolutely insane obsession with AOC is truly something to behold. What is this, like maybe the 444th thread we have had on AOC, almost all of them posted by Righties, almost all of them trying any which way they can to mock her.

If you don't like her politics, that's fair. But the ugliness that is hurled at her by some of the Righties out there speaks to the old adage that the one you hate the most is the one that is so far beyond you that you would never have a chance with her. AND that p*sses you off.

Now, I have seen some very attractive rightwing ladies who are absolutely fruitcakes. But I have seldom attacked them PERSONALLY, while I might attack their politics. AND I certainly haven't obsessed over them. Only insecure little children behave this way.

Simply, AOC owns the Right. She really does. It's hilarious.
