AOC Admits Kamala was a Fake!

Well, presuming one cares about the institutions of democracy and the rule of law, and if one believes the choice is between a sincere fascist demagogue and a fake status quo politician, the morally correct thing to do is to back the fake status quo politician.

I had no problem with Kamala's campaign messaging. It's partly because I never believed she was this bleeding heart progressive to begin with. She's a status quo middle of the road Democrat. Biden governed well and I expected more of the same. She changed her rhetoric to appeal to the broader electorate. We can have that conversation of whether it's good or bad but that's the truth. AOC is right in that many voters see that as fake. I say they are correct to feel that way but the alternative is not to elect a lunatic.

The thing was, no body with any sense believed a single word out of her mouth when she had to run toward the middle.

All the Republicans and the PACs had to do was kill her with her own passed words.

Mostly it was the inflation and prices, then it was oil fracking and coal in Western PA, then it was Biden union busting of the RR unions.

My brother is a strait progressive social democrat and he said he did not know if he could vote Biden again at the time of the RR fiasco.

That's the way unions are, you mess with one man, you got us all. In PA, MI, WI you don't want to be seen union busting or it will swing the state away from you.
 
AOC is one on the many FAKE politicians out there. I really think democrats have no ability for introspection. A few members of the infamous squad are now gone, hopefully she and the remaining others are getting closer. After all that has happened, do you know who is the least fake politician out there? Trump. WYSIWYG, warts and all. That is why he resonates with real people and why democrats are getting less popular. I think the whole democratic party has embraced fakeness as a better alternative to reality. In their circles it probably is, but more people seem to think making reality better is the preferred goal. Will the democrat's fake bubble ever burst and force a reckoning? Doubt it. Especially on this forum.

Amazing. AOC is such a vacuous baublehead, but this is the second time I've heard her speak intelligently. Is the baublehead routine an act? There are some great actors in this world, maybe? Oh - the first time I heard her speak intelligently and insightfully, she was addressing the security failures around the Trump assassination attempt. I was truly shocked when she asked pointed questions that were on target. This is the same naive little girl who exclaimed that our food comes from the dirt! It's MAGIC! This is so EXCITING!!

And how when Biden stepped down, the die hard Dems immediately switched from not really like Harris to standing ovations, exaggerated compliments and over-the-top excitement and love for her. It was a really weird thing to witness. To me, it was like they were manufacturing excitement in order to make it appear like everyone was over the moon about her being the candidate. It was very clear to me that she's an awful speaker and really, really, really bad in any off-the-cuff situations. Hopefully she has been unburdened by what has been and scoots off into obscurity. That laugh. Oy.

Add to that the fact that she actually had to pay Hollywood to support her. After her crushing defeat these celebrities are running away like a bunch of scurrying rats.
