Here's the reality:
You completed a 2 year associate at a junior college in criminal justice, are 21 years old and don't have a criminal record. With those qualifications you apply to become a police officer - and are conditionally hired.
You attend police academy for 16 weeks. There, you are supposedly taught all misdemeanor and criminal laws, all police procedures, all legal and constitutional rights of people, and how to subdue anyone without hurting the person. You graduate 16 weeks later.
You are now officially a trainee officer, assigned to a veteran ranking officer. 3 days later on a call a car in stopped. The suspect gets out - a huge man, tall. Muscular. Showing off his muscles. The computer shows he has a long criminal record. But the arrest seems to be going ok. The suspect in the back seat of the police car.
Suddenly, your training officer jerks him out the other side, pinning that huge guy to the ground. You run around to help restraining, but see your trainer has his knee on his neck. Though whether you become and officer or not is up to that trainer, still you remember from police academy this isn't allowed and tell your trainer he shouldn't have his knee on the suspects neck. He ignores you. Instead, he is calling for an ambulance. The guy is dead.
What happens next after these first 3 days?
Every television station, newspaper and all over Internet is your picture, calling you a racist murderer of black people. Politicians by the hundreds say YOU are a murderer, a racist murderer.
You are arrested, charged with murder, bond set at a million dollars, they want to put you in prison for 40 years, and mobs of people all over the USA join in calling for you to spend the rest of your life in prison because you are a white supremacist and racist murderer. The mayor, police chief, DA of your city and nationwide all call you a white racist murderer who should go to prison until you are a senior citizen - a lifetime in solitary confinement or a lifetime being raped and beaten in prison.
To keep you safe, you are isolated in solitary because you'd be beaten to death with the general population - for which they want to keep you in solitary (torture) for 40 years OR have you gang raped and murdered in prison for 40 years. No matter what, for will spend at least about a year in solitary confinement and the rest of your life branded as a white racist murderer.
When asked what he should have done differently, the answer is he should have physically attacked his 18 year veteran training officer - and because he didn't attack his trainer that makes him a murderer.
Hmm, in those 16 weeks of police academy did they have a section entitled "when to violently assault and arrest your instructors?" Did he skip the class on when - and HOW - do that? How to physically assault your police instructors? Of course not. There was not 1 second in junior college or police academy that even hinted at ever doing so. At the most, you would report the misconduct after the fact. I am certain he was not taught when he should violently assault and arrest - or shot - one of his teachers or a police captain.
Did they sucker that young adult in or what?!
Hell of a job training program, don't you think? This is like a Monte Python satire. "Just listen and follow the lead of your supervisor" followed by "for doing what you were told you will now spend most of the rest of your life in a tiny white room all alone in a prison to protect you from being beaten to death by black gang members because you are now one of the most hated people in the United States, you goddamn murderous racist."
Anyone who applies for a job as a police officer in a Democratic Party run urban city should be put into a mental institution as insane. Your employer and your supervisor is vastly more dangerous to you than any criminal. NO sane person would take a job like that.
