Day 2, and I wasn't going to watch it, but I got caught up in the excitement of the crowd over the roll call. Annnnnndddd...I'm still watching.

I think it's pretty good, what do y'all think?

Boring.

Nothing like day one. I have watched all of it today as i did yesterday.

Oh shoot, I just realized neither of the Obama's have spoken yet...Bernie Sanders is speaking now. I don't know if I can stay awake for all of it! 😁
That's why the Internet exists. We don't even have to click the record button anymore.

I haven't watched any of it yet. I read an article about Biden's speech.

I know, but that's kinda like watching the football game the next day.... :sneaky:
As long as you don't read or watch spoilers, the recording is still "new to you".

I have never watched ANY convention, either Republican or Democratic, but I'm watching this one as I type this. There is a lot at stake in this election!

Biden gave a speech last night, He's not here tonight, and Harris is in Milwaukee tonight. I'm enjoying it, probably more so because the stakes are so high this election.

I know. I read about it at lunch.

And there in lies the problem- Once you hear the final score, it's like...pffft

The last two elections were billed as, and rightly so, the most important elections of our lifetime.
Well, this one is too.

If we fail to turn out and vote any of these times we could/could have lost democracy forever.

Just got home in time for Bernie. I think my timing was good.

I have no idea how Dems will top last night. Can't wait to see Obama!

The final score doesn't happen until November!

I'll tell you what, these organizers are slick...they put the key note speakers up last so people don't leave!

What I'm loving is Harris/Walz are rallying with a Milwaukee crowd, probably 20,000 people attending while another crowd of about 20,000 in Chicago is busy nominating her.

Got to be driving Trump crazy!
I know, right? That was a brilliant strategy. Didn't she hire many of Obama's campaign staff? They deserve big props.

Yep. But now, I'm heading to the main thread. Why not join us?

The two cities, with their centers only only 90 miles apart, actually form one megapolis along the western shore of Lake Michigan. Their far-flung suburbs merge into each other, and denizens of each city & its suburbs often work in the other city & its suburbs, Ditto for shopping & entertainment.
