It is amazing how many people know so little, like the name of the geyser that goes off regularly like clockwork? It does however help me to understand how some folks believe the crap they do. I think I knew more in eighth grade of Catholic school than many of these adults seem to know. I'm almost ashamed of how much Americans don't know.

We are intellectually lazy by default.

I had a conversation where some educators a few years ago who told me there was no reason to teach lots of history because kids could just look it on on their phones. Completely wrong approach.

Does it indicate a failure of the education system? If yes, shouldn't it be radically altered so it educates? The US at one point had the finest public school system. Perhaps it is time to return to what has proven to work.

I'm open to suggestions.

Cash Cab is one of the better game shows developed. It is fast, very little wasted time unlike other shows that insist on "let's meet the contestants" - who cares? Get to the game!
