Anti-Tech Protesters Target VC With Vulgar Flyer

Why not solve simple poverty with existing legal and physical infrastructure in our republic, and claim that supply side economics is supposed to be supplying us with better governance at lower cost.

The diversity of the different states is what gave America its strength. Now, as the feds gain more control, that is changing.

Actually, if you'll objectively check, the federal government has less real power over our personal lives than at any time since perhaps before the Civil War. For instance, back in WWI, Woodrow Wilson put people - even a congressman IIRC - in jail for years just for speaking out against our involvement in WWI. Then there was slavery, Jim Crow, abolition, women not being allowed to vote, the draft...the list goes on. We're freer today than you think.

When "prosperity" only benefits a few people it does not improve the overall quality of life for a community, it can harm it.

Prosperity is earned not taken from one and given to another. That's called socialism.

I wish Google would take them up on this. Small caveat, if the project fails all property therein reverts to Google.

With $3 billion I could build a free rent, free food, free birth control community also. It might last up to three months.

You feel the Swedes are doing well because of socialism?

Do you deal exclusively in strawmen? Do you get your rocks off on taking other people's words, changing said words, and then throwing those new, different words back at them?

What did you mean then by "Tell the Swedes that"?

Sweden practices a good deal of socialism. Has it "failed" there? Simple yes or no question. And when you answer "no," which is the correct answer, then we can move on from this idiotic tangent.

Lessons From the Swedish Welfare State - WSJ.com

A Scandinavian economist once said to Milton Friedman, ‘In Scandinavia, we have no poverty’. Milton Friedman replied, ‘That’s interesting, because in America, among Scandinavians, we have no poverty, either’.

You may not understand this but culture counts.

I don't understand how you're against this. I thought conservatives were all about tradition?

Perhaps this misunderstanding is why there are many rifts occurring among the American people.

They sound like spoiled children...."I want what you have so give it to me or I'll destroy you!"

It sounded more to me like "I want what you have so give it to me so I can destroy you."

You think it is OK for people to vomit on apublic transport vehicle? They all should have been arrested for that and tested for comunicable diseases.

It sounds like the problem is greedy landlords.
