Well, this thread didn't have much promise, but now it's ruined.
as I noted in another thread, this movie was created based on the belief that the lying bitch was going to win and with her coronation, this movie would be launched to give her Bannerrhoid schemes a boost of public support. With the Lying Bitch losing, the main purpose of this move was lost as was the secondary purpose-to make the anti gun scum lickers who created it-money.
You do have to remember that anti-2nd amendment trash use the term assault weapon and assault rifle interchangeably and like to call certain semi-automatic firearms assault rifle.Heck if they could they would probably call all semiautomatic firearms "assault rifles". That's just how dishonest anti-2nd amendment trash are.The trailers I have seen were fraught with fibs-such as the lead character howling that you can by an assault rifle without any paperwork which is a lie since assault rifles made after 5/19/86 are illegal for anyone other than government agents and Title II manufacturers to possess and those made before then require a 11 month background check, a 200 dollar tax stamp, and (until recently) the approval (which may be withheld for ANY reason) of your chief local law enforcement officer.
Old people do.
"Miss Sloane", an anti-gun movie that demonizes the NRA, has bombed at the box office, making just over 3 million in the first week. That comes out to 9 movie goers per theater per day for this dog.
That just goes to show that the whole gun control effort is a top down affair. There's no support for more regulations in the general public.
I sure hope these pinheads put their own money into this poodle. A whole raft of anti-war, anti-military movies cratered and they still kept making them. And now this. These guys have a fiduciary duty to put the money into movies that will make money, not to make their own little bleeding hearts go pitter-pat.
No it shows that people dont want to watch those kinds of movies in the cinema. Quite a few of non "sci-action" movies fail at the box office, but then do great business on streaming services.
And it is not like right wing movies are great hits.. remember Atlas Shrugged series? Part 1 made 4.6 million but cost 20 million. Despite this, the right wing got the next 2 made as well, and they bombed just as bad if not worse. Part 2 cost 10 million to make and made 3.3 million and part 3, cost 5 million to make and made under 1 million at the box office. Can you say absolute flop?

I think that is factually incorrect. In most developed countries cinema audiences are predominantly very young.
Anyway ins't 'bombed' a bit unfortunate in this context?
Atlas Shrugged featured a list of nobody's and lost $15 million. What's your point?
I really thought that point was explained. Must be that comprehension thing again that thinks unevidenced assertions actually have a point.
I don't think the movies are comparable. Atlas Strugged received overwhelmingly negative reviews for poor writing, lackluster acting, and bad filming and editing processes. Miss Sloane was an absolute darling of the reviewers and has already been nominated for awards.
Yeah, you should study more...
Atlas Shrugged (2011) - Box Office Flops
Secondly, an anti abortion film would probably lose money before production. Some topics don't flock'em in; like Atlas Shrugged.
I don't think there are many, like myself, who are going to rush out at $12.00 a through to watch a gun argument movie; we'll wait for the video.

The Hollywood Jihad against the NRA and our gun rights at the last election featured a ton of A List stars and lost far worse and far more money
HW may not like the NRA, but they sure do love their guns. At least, it certainly appears that they cannot make a movie without one.
