This isn't good news. It's oligarchs figuring out how to get power better. It's not them turning on traitor trump for any right reason, but only because they recognize he'll cost them power.

I think the oligarchs get tired of this system, of finding new con men every few years to serve them but fool voters, over and over, and they must get tempted to look for an alternative to democracy. But until then, they keep funding the political machine we have.

I've long predicted this turning on traitor trump, because he's not about being a team player and isn't getting them power. He DID serve the oligarchs, but now only threatens their power with his backing nutjobs about stolen elections stealing documents and facing charges, and so on.

And so this 'giving cover' to Republicans is what helps them turn on him. It's bad news, as it will help the oligarchs rule.

This has to be coordinated. There are too many Republicans TRASHING Florida Man too fast.

It is coordinated.

Right wing media and a good chunk of its pundits turned against Trump on a dime right after the midterms like some ungodly, Sinclair Broadcast Group style hivemind.

The Republican party per the latest polling isn't with them, but they're damn well trying their best to get it to back their anointed candidate of choice: Desanits; that these media outlets and their talking heads are, by and large, trying to steer and manipulate the base to back their anointed candidate is blatant and obvious.

The problem these individuals have is that their policy positions on taxation, the social safety net, and regulatory capture, are not at all popular.

It doesn't really matter, if they can cut a check to a machine that screams 'Pelosi sucks' and 'Democrats are letting illegals take over the country' loudly enough to get the votes.

DeSantis can do that.

Traitor trump should have realized hiring the crowd like he did in 2016 works better for him.
