An American sent to Canada was shocked by how furious Canadians are at the U.S.

Absolutely agree. There's no excuse for discourtesy toward American visitors.

We shall disagree.

In my case - I as shot at several years ago driving in Washington state. It left a bullet hole in my quarter panel but not enough to trace the bullet.

SO I have no argument with people who refuse service to Americans. At least we're not ****ing shooting at you.

So long as they are well behaved everyone will be treated with Canada's famous hospitality. Bring your guns and we have a BIG Problem....and the problem is too many of you do!

By the way the Vancouver Sun last week reported that the RCMP, Canada;s national police force (and largest police force in the world) have seized thousands of doses of fentanyl they seized headed NORTH out of America into Canada's pristine wilderness and 121 people are being held under Canada's "anti-terrorism" act.

It is not a done deal. This bout of right wing extremism will run it's course, causing severe problems; which will turn the political tide against it, and we will swing back towards more sanity and do our best to make up for all the stupid asshole stunts currently being pulled.

That's what I'm voting for.

Were you actually targeted? Or were you just in the line of fire? I had a similar experience decades ago in a train station in Germany; however, I do not take it out on Germans.

Number of times I was shot in Washington State: 0

I didn't even get shot in Florida. No alligator attacks either.

It doesn't matter at all, perhaps only to the anti-American MAGATS.....and their opinion doesn't matter to any sane adult in the US, Canada, or anywhere in the free world.
 
There will undoubtedly be those most outlandish of examples from both counties citizens of expressed anger towards each other on an individual basis but; Canadians must try to remember to put the scope of the individual American’s “disconnect” into the perspective of them being, for the most part, the most ill informed populace about ALL foreign countries.

Canadians faced with the prospect of a confrontation with an American must engage the DNA generated “reasonable” and “polite” genetic predisposition we have been traditionally noted as for eons. Sort of the old “forgive them for they know not . . .”

Conversations should remain civil until given valid reasons for otherwise. If nothing else; send them home with facts in their possession as to how Canada has been the recipient of American overt aggression and regardless; how reasonable but determined we’re all handling it.

Actions speak louder than words. Leave the words to the wordsmiths.
