American manufacturers have now added back MORE jobs than they lost during the pandemic

The supply chain shortage and inability to import along with goverment incentives put the focus back on American manufacturing. Going forward with the very strong US dollar is America going to be able to export? Who's going to buy all these products? That and we're heading straight into a recession.

I bet you're the most exciting date in your town.

But... But.... But... That's not possible.. There's a Democrat in the WH... Good economic news is not allowed... Lol.. Lol
dow jones: " you got that right!"

Dems: " Capitalism sux, let US run the economy "

So you're saying Trump is a liar?

It's gonna change, as the Fed specifically wants to increase unemployment to drive wages down.

One good thing from covid? Supply chains are being considered with more appreciation when making corporate decisions.
I’m not sure this solves anything. The problem isn’t a shortage of goods arriving at our shores. The problem was/is what happens when the goods get here. Not enough longshoremen to offload the cargo ships. Not enough truckers or train capacity to shift product when it is offloaded. They can make it here but they’ll still run into the same distribution problems.

The changes in supply chains are beginning on this side of the ocean. Remember that anything made here does not have to be offloaded at a central point. I disagree that domestic goods would face the same problem, goods made here have a web of different distribution options.

Another reason to be suspicious of the current fed.
