The 1907 collapse of the Quebec Bridge over the St. Lawrence River was caused by a math error on the part of P.L. Szlapka the design engineer and was not caught by the engineer who approved the design, Theodor Cooper. Of the 86 workers on the bridge at the moment it collapsed 75 died or drowned.

OK then. The republicans want to roll the clock back 50 years, why not go another 50 to the days of one room school houses; 1 teacher for 12 grades (or you can quit your job Mom to home school) because all the teachers QUIT!

So easy to see why there's a shortage of teachers in this country.

Maybe those engineers went to a Conservative approved school.

Strange but true: In any university setting the engineering colleges have the most conservative professors and the most conservative students on campus. Many of these profs and students are the first in the family to have gone to college and come from conservative families.

What are the top engineering schools? MIT, Cal Tech, Stanford, Berkeley, Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon...
