I don't know right now of a candidate that I'm educated on that I get excited about... we'll see, though. It took a while for the Democrat party to get sold on and pumped about Bill Clinton, too if I remember correctly.

4) However, this whole issue should be decided by the individual states themselves, not the Federal government. Its none of their business.

McClintock has the charisma of Ronald Reagan, and not only strongly believes in Conservative positions, but practices what he preaches as well. He is somebody who has the potential to really energize Conservatives in the party, and now would be a great time to make his move, with the GOP defeat and all. I am really stoked on McClintock, but from what I hear, he has no political plans anymore. The party should draft him.
