A very interesting piece on crop circles, if you didn't know what to think or were uninformed.

Pretty obvious, they even have video of the angels working.

The Government hired guys to make fake crop circles.

So there are Angels.

Powerful ones, ones that can emit microwaves and precipitate metallic debris.

Not trying to tell us anything, but that they are there.

Good article in the link. In another thread there is an excellent piece written by Carl Sagan 20 years ago saying that he feared the growth of credulity and superstition.

This sort of thing is why Critical Thinking is such an important skill.

Ok take one minute my Friends and think. Aliens come here from a planet dozens of Light Years away. That means it takes Light literally years to travel that distance.

Now the technology to do that sort of traveling is so far advanced that it is barely theoretical to us. The folks that can do that are well above a one on the Kardashev Scale.

Remember in History where European Explorers showed up with Cannon and Rifles and conquered less advanced peoples? The Aliens would be showing up with Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carriers against people who have wooden spears and stone knives.

Seriously a couple teenagers tooling around in Dad’s car could conquer us. That is the level of technological inequalities we are talking about.

And the idea that the Aliens would be altruistic and have only our best interests at heart is laughable. Again they would just conquer us and tell us to do things they say for our own good.

They would see us as the ignorant savages we would be by comparison.

I think it's an alien frat initiation sort of thing. The more people you get to freak out and think that it's aliens doing it versus just some kids the quicker you get through your pledge period.

No, I really doubt that, comes out as very unlikely.

#1 The lizards are presently in a time dilation to us, only a hundred years go by for them while a thousand go by for us. You'd really have to want to sacrifice to go there.

#2 They aren't in space yet.

#4 Lizards come to conquer, not to play silly games like making crop circles. What could crop circles have to do with a lizard conquest?

#5 The Lizards are too far away and they don't have any warp.

#6 We already know who does the crop circles.

One advantage of time dilation is that while we are born and die, the lizard keeps living.
