Alan Colmes Leaving Hannity

1) Phony Conservative: one who espouses Conservative principles, while practicing policies that are completely anti-Conservative.

2) Spends like a drunken sailor, believes in big government, believes in government intrusion on personal liberty, attempts to force morality on citizens, while those around him are busted right and left (Larry Craig, Mark Foley, etc), does't trust the citizens to run their own lives, etc, etc, etc.

3) You supported Bush while he was in office.

I rest my case. We all know who the REAL phony Conservative is. Look in a mirror, Bub. He who smelt it dealt it.

As if you could comprehend what Conservatism is? :rofl

Dan, the only thing more amusing than your anti Bush rants is your inability to make a coherent argument and comprehend the reality of Conservative principles.

Here's your FIRST clue so that you can become a more enlightened phony Conservative, unless of course your claim to fame is a moderate Libertarian; the spending that the Bush Administration did was primarily the result of fighting TWO wars which were authorized and approved by BOTH sides of the aisle, 9-11, Hurricane Katrina and the implementation of the 9-11 commissions recommendations.

Now you are free to whine about the Medicare drug reform act, but if your issue is about fiscal restraint and fiscal responsibility, you will have, and have had, MORE than enough material to rant about with the Democrats in charge; I’m still waiting for those postings.

So far, and as much as I have seen, you’ve been pretty silent about the out-of-control spending and lack of restraints we have seen since Democrats have been in charge. But I am sure any day now, it will come out right?

Carry on; the only thing phonier than the feigned outrage of Keith Olberman's rants is your self proclaimed conservatism and independence.
:rofl

Faux and co are obsolete. After the 20th, they're no longer going to get their "white house exclusives" or "inside scoops" of white house talking points anymore.
O Reilly certainly won't be talking about if you're against the president you're with the terrorists or some garbage talking point.
Opinionated conservative spin is just going to wither and die, Murdoch would kick them all under the train and start buying up whatever is the next most profitable market in the media business.

Just look at the recent "war on christmas" debacle, even faux had green in celebration of "holidays" rather than exclaiming christmas - where was O'Reilly screaming for a boycott and protest against faux??

I have heard the same idiotic predictions when Clinton was elected about Rush Limbaugh's show.

That is just jfuh rendering common sense obsolete. Or did he really think Fox (or any other news net) are not going to keep calling anything broadcast from the White House a "White House Exclusive!"? :doh

I might relent slightly here; but it is more so with Democrats.

:rofl

Yeah, you are probably right.

Of course I hit my head this morning and can't remember anything that happened for the last eight years. :2razz:

 Hannity and Olbermann... :rofl

Id love to see that!

Colmes wasn't a puppet, he was a wolf in sheep's clothing, a pretender/actor. He was just pretending to be a liberal/democrat, and he wasn't even good at it.
Olbermann would end up kicking Hannity's ass before the first show was over.

Talking heads go separate ways, boo who. I saw a Comdey Central special that did a montage of absolute viscerally hateful and un-needed comments made towards Colmes. I feel sorry for the guy but no need because honestly I think Alan Colmes is a very strong person to have to put up with just absolute slander and bullying he received on his show!!

Not to worry, Colmes is doing just fine. He is actually joining Steve Colbert on Comedy Central as co-host. He is funny and can take a joke. Check it out - this one about Burris is a HOOT. :lamo He officially starts Jan. 9.
