And rather than calling Murdoch on his hypocrisy the Jon Stewarts of the world chose to wat until they could play, 'tit for tat' with this matter.
Two wrongs don't make a right.
And no matter what Murdoch might be guilty of doing or not doing, Algore is WRONG to have sold his network to Al Jazeera.
He's "wrong" becuase you hate capitalism?
How dare you interfere with the market. Are you some kind of socialist?
I thought you were a staunch believer in "free market" capitalism - you know, that whole "governments should have nothing to do with the actions of corporations"
By the way who is Algore? I know of a former politician by the name of Al Gore but who is Algore?
He's "wrong" becuase you hate capitalism?
Algore = Al Gore.
:mrgreen:AKA Al Gorzeera
O great, another biased tv station. God now I'm going to here everything about Islam and anti Israel and pro Palestine

Because Al Jazeera radio's BIGGEST show in the MiddleEast asked Allah to count each Jew on Earth so that they could all be killed.
Because a terrorist smashed the head of a 4 year Jewish girl onto a rock until she was dead and then Al Jazeera celebrated that monster with a cake and praise.
How could any civil human being condone this or do business with anyone who does???

Al-Jazeera admits to 'unethical' behavior over Kuntar party
The Al Jazeera television station admitted Wednesday that its coverage of Israel's release of convicted Lebanese terrorist Samir Kuntar violated the station's own code of ethics. The admission came in response to a threat by Israel's Government Press Office to boycott the satellite channel unless it apologized.
In an official letter, a copy of which was obtained by Haaretz, Al Jazeera's director general, Khanfar Wadah, wrote that "elements of the program" broadcast in Kuntar's honor on the night of Saturday, July 19, "violated [the station's] Code of Ethics," and he "regards these violations as very serious."
He also said he had ordered the channel's programming director to take steps to ensure that such an incident does not recur.
but hey, they're nothing but a bunch of ragheads so they are all guilty, right?
Obviously you know nothing about Al Jazeera but not unexpected - lots of Americans have little knowledge of the world outside their personal bubbles

Of course you know all about right.
I understand and I'm sorry for questioning you. When my daughter was in junior high, she attended a large urban school - 1500 kids in three grades, 7, 8 & 9, - I took her to Europe for the first time the summer after Grade 7. Out of 1500 kids, only one other student from her school visited another country during that summer holiday.
I've lived in 5 countries other than the US since I became an adult, after growing up in a country other than the US.
No, I don't know ALL about the world but I do know a lot more about the world than the vast majority of Americans - which I think is sad. Far too many Americans seem to think there is nothing worthwhile to be learned from other nations.
Al Jazeera is a vile propaganda network, there is no doubt about that. But you needn't use terms like that to make a point.
Have you ever watched it? (incidentally if anyone does feel like checking it out they have a live stream on their English youtube channel)
