Bill Clinton/Paula Jones
next case....
According to Jones' account, on May 8, 1991, Paula Jones was escorted to the room of Clinton, then Governor of Arkansas, in the Excelsior (now Peabody) Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he propositioned her. She claimed she kept quiet about the incident until 1994, when a David Brock story in American Spectator told a lurid account, sometimes referred to as Troopergate, about an Arkansas employee named "Paula" offering to be Clinton's girlfriend.
If it doesnt get reported at the time of the incident just what secret magical powers do hotel security guards have to spook out the event and the facts?
A swing and a miss!
1. Jones never reported the incident to hotel security, just like Gore's masseuse.
2. Three years later, and ONLY when the Brock story naming her as the one making advances was published, did she suddenly come up with the "Clinton propositioned me" story. Sorta like the Gore-masseuse's claims well after the fact.
3. I'm not giving Clinton or Gore a pass here; nor am I giving Jones or Gore's masseuse a pass. But Jones' years-old accusations sound a lot like the masseuse's, don't they?
That in itself makes me question the validity of their claims.

Were you maybe expecting hotel security to start an investigation three (or more) years after a non-reported incident? Common sense would indicate that if nothing was reported at the time of the incident, nothing would have been investigated by hotel security. :doh Neither Jones nor this masseuse made complaints at the time of the incidents - it's only years later that they came up with these accusations.
That in itself makes me question the validity of their claims.
You are correct - should have looked there first. Got to page 11. Did you read it? Does it seem weird to you? I have not read a lot of police reports but it seems very stilted for a conversaton. Maybe it is the way the transcript comes out.
Why is it that the "very conservative" seem to be so upset with the liberals sex capers ??He has cheated on his wife. Thats not a stretch.
You aren't one of the people who thought slick Willy was innocent until the dress was found are you?
Yeah, that's not what you said. So where's the quote YOU accused me of saying?
I mean, you're stating unequivocally that I "believe" something. Surely there must be some quote where you can provide the foundation of this belief.
Unless you think that "demand" and "force" and "entice" all mean the same thing? Is that where your confusion lies?
Not to mention that I've never said that anyone who does anything won't have consequences. There are ALWAYS consequences to one's actions.
Why is it that the "very conservative" seem to be so upset with the liberals sex capers ??
Is this part of the price one pays for being "conservative"??
I fail to see any liberals biting the head of conservatives when they act as normal humans.....or do they???
Anyway, the whole thing is just too silly and beneath the dignity of gentlemen.

I can't believe you actually posted this.....
If you saw from the beginning I stated I DONT KNOW what happened in a Portland hotel room (any more than any other person here). My comment to you is that it is ludicrous for you tro come in here and claim...bah...this would NEVER happen because hotel security would know everything. Hotel security is hotel security. I wont even be dismissive of them...but they can only act on what they KNOW (which you apparently agree to) so therefore it lends no credence to the discussion on IF it could have happened.
So you were one of the Clinton faithful who didn't believe any of these women until that stained dress showed up.
You should keep your day job; being a mind reader just isn't working for you.
I absolutely believe that Clinton was a womanizer. What I don't believe is Paula Jones' questionable story.
Hypocrisy once again... Maybe I should run and edit my posts after the fact like you did to CYA.
What I did say was that if a woman complained to hotel staff that she was the victim of unwanted sexual advances, hotel security would investigate immediately and without prejudice.
In her lawsuit filed Friday in Washoe District Court, Andrea McNulty said she was working July 11, 2008, at a desk in the penthouse suite during the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament at Stateline, Nev., when Roethlisberger, a two-time Super Bowl winner, called her to his room to fix his television.
Once there, he forced her on his bed and raped her, the suit said.
When she later told Harrah's security chief Guy Hyder, the suit said, she was told that Harrah's Lake Tahoe casino president John Koster was a close friend of Roethlisberger and that "most girls would feel lucky to get to have sex with someone like Ben Roethlisberger."
She was told "Koster would love you even more if he knew about this," according to the suit.
The question is did you believe that at the time or after the fact?
Gore has already cheated on his wife. Why is this such a stretch for you?
I don't question the possibility that Gore (or Clinton or a large number of the males on the planet) made unwanted sexual advances to women who were not their wives. What I question is why any woman would wait to report it, particularly in this Gore-masseuse case. If Gore's actions were so egregious, what legitimate reason would the woman have to NOT report it? Why the hell would she stick around for more... unless those advances weren't exactly "unwanted?"

THAT is the real question. That and the fact that she went for money instead of criminal charges.
I'll say it again, please try to keep up: I believe Clinton was a womanizer (well before he became president). What I have trouble believing is why any woman would wait years to complain of an unwanted sexual advance - from Jones, from Gore's masseuse, from ANY woman.
You just don't get it do you? :doh

Not with the heads of hotel security that I've known. Hard-core conservatives types to a one.
Like this hotel security chief did ??
Lawyer for Harrah's employees moves to dismiss case regarding Steelers QB Roethlisberger
According to a statement by Hyder filed with the motion to dismiss, and to e-mails between McNulty and Hyder, she never mentioned being raped, and instead said she wanted to have sex with Reothlisberger and was excited when it happened.
“Ben is so effing hot and I am so bored,” McNulty told Hyder in one e-mail sent on July 11, 2008 [the day of the incident].
On July 13, 2008, two days after the alleged rape, McNulty wrote a joke memo in an e-mail to Hyder announcing that McNulty was resigning because “she is with Big Ben's child and she has relocated to Pittsburgh.”
“You can be the god father... Uncle Guy,” McNulty said in the next e-mail.
Co-worker says Andrea McNulty bragged about having sex with Ben Roethlisberger
According to court documents filed Friday, a co-worker of the woman who filed a civil lawsuit against Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger alleging rape, bragged about consensual sex with him.
According to USA Today, in a sworn statement attached to a motion to move the civil case to Douglas County, Nevada, Angela Antonetti said Andrea McNulty “did not appear to be upset, stressed-out or nervous” about having been intimate with Roethlisberger in July 2008, during the American Century Championship celebrity gold tournament.
Also on Friday, Roethlisberger’s attorney filed a motion saying McNulty is attempting to exploit the athlete’s celebrity status to secure “…an extortionate payday.”
Antonetti, who worked with McNulty at Harrah’s for about three years, claimed she acted to the contrary, and “appeared happy and boastful” about the incident—even believing she may be pregnant from the encounter, according to the co-worker.
“Rather than indicating that she was afraid or apprehensive about his, Andrea expressed to me that she was hoping for a ‘little Roethlisberger,’” said Antonetti.
