First let's get the link out of the way.
Donald Trump's right hand man 'forced to make emergency landing in UK'
A flight reportedly carrying US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has been forced to land at RAF Mildenhall after emitting a Squawk 7700 code indicating a general emergency.www.express.co.uk
Next. Let's talk about it. Apparently the plane began to have a pressurization issue and descended to a lower altitude and turned back to land at England. The plane was on its way to Washington DC from Brussels where Pete was attending meetings with NATO.
My guess? I'm betting the ground crews were busy working out to make sure they were not fat and pumping iron instead of checking the plane. It's important to make sure the Frat Boy rule is followed you know. No Fat Chicks, and No Fat Bros unless they're funny.
LOL !I'm glad that the crew is safe.
Or, maybe it’s because the plane is almost 30 years old and mechanical issues happen to machines fairly often.First let's get the link out of the way.

Headline writer trying to be edgy is my guess.Glad it was nothing more seriand everyone is fine. Since when was he elevated to right hand man? ,
Are you saying writers at these types of publications take license and use provocative language? Oh my.......Headline writer trying to be edgy is my guess.
......or rich trump suckers. No Fat Chicks, and No Fat Bros unless they're funny.

Now that's funny! Hegseth is such a ham bone he wants all the press but only when he wants it. I wish none of them will run it but they have to it is news./sarcasm
wonder if members of the press received permission ot print this story of the emergency landing?
If not, will they lose their press privileges. lol
Gosh, so sorry that people you hate didn’t die during a minor issue on their aircraft. Better luck next time?Evil men live long while good people die young…
The OP said "apparently", he didn't say the word was in the article. Are you saying a cracked windshield would have no effect on the pressure in the plane?Someone couldn't even be bothered to read the article. There was no pressurization issue. In fact, the word pressurization appears nowhere in the article linked in the OP.
The aircrew noticed a crack in the windscreen and descended to 10,000 as a precautionary measure.
Windscreens are multilayered. Plus even if there was a crack, the leakage would be so small that you would not lose pressure. The OP said "apparently", he didn't say the word was in the article. Are you saying a cracked windshield would have no effect on the pressure in the plane?
Small or not, there was an issue which may have affected the pressure, that's why they descended and reduced speed.Windscreens are multilayered. Plus even if there was a crack, the leakage would be so small that you would not lose pressure.
By descending to 10,000 feet and reducing airspeed you reduce stress. That is what they were doing.
Now now..
Generally speaking, no, it would not.The OP said "apparently", he didn't say the word was in the article. Are you saying a cracked windshield would have no effect on the pressure in the plane?
