Fact check: Was Donald Trump recruited by the KGB and codenamed 'Krasnov'?

You have probably heard the story, former KGB agent Alnur Mussayev claims the USSR recruited Trump as an asset in the 80s. But despite Trump looking kinda cool in a Soviet uniform, this is probably not true. This story has not been verified by anyone, and Mussayev worked in the wrong department of the KGB for having access to information about "foreign assets" (then again KGB's internal security was crap, so there is always who knows). Also our western knowledge of how KGB worked comes from two sources, Western Intelligence (that often got things wrong) and former KGB agents (that may or may not speak the truth here, why Mussayev also should be taken with a grain of salt). But the fact remains, very little supports Trump was a Soviet asset in the 80s.

I don't think he is an agent in the conventional sense - James Bond and all of that.
I do think he is beholden to Putin in some way. That would make him an asset. There is no other excuse for the way Trump fawns over Putin.

Yeah, I think Trump is in deep with Putin, but I don't think that goes back to the 80s.

Everything is on the surface here.
The United States is preparing for a confrontation with China, and many analysts say that China is likely to begin external expansion in 2028. The first target is Taiwan.
The United States has no legitimate reason to interfere in this conflict, because the United States itself does not recognize Taiwan as an independent state.
However, China will not stop in Taiwan and expansion in the region will continue.
For the United States in this region, Russia is more important than Ukraine, and even more important than Europe. That is why there is a policy of establishing relations with the Kremlin.

You cannot understand that humanity is on the verge of the departure of Western civilization in the shadow of the growing Asian center, and for the next hundred years it will be in the Pacific region and in the countries of the Indian Ocean that humanity's main activities will be

Plus, it's not like he's doing everything in his power to help the old commie Putin.

Recent administration actions to put pressure on Putin and Russia.

Washington — The Trump administration is placing more restrictions on Russia's oil, gas and banking sectors by further restricting Russian access to U.S. payment systems, according to four people familiar with the plans.
The Treasury Department on Wednesday let lapse a 60-day exemption put in place by the Biden administration in January that allowed specific energy transactions involving sanctioned Russian banks to continue. By letting the waiver lapse, the banks may no longer access U.S. payment systems to conduct major energy transactions.

Doesn't look like what 'Putin's bitch' would do.

Most likely reason to put pressure on Putin and Russia is to incentivize them to negotiation table to bring the Ukrainian war to a close.

The whole 'Trump as Russian asset' narrative appears to be just yet another Dem's MSM propagandist hoax bullshit.

Trump is going to reward Putin for his crimes.

Yes, I agree. He has been compromised in some way.
