so prior to getting married, I was wrong to discriminate against gay people in choosing possibly partners?

In that case the rhetoric was "Stop discriminating against black people." when it should have been "Stop discriminating." Had this approach been taken, we might not even be having this discussion. Those on the left always seem to focus on one facet of a problem, while ignoring the rest. The problem here isn't "Homosexuals are being discriminated against.", it's "We need to make it clear what forms of discrimination are acceptable and what forms aren't." Making a blanket statement that any form of discrimination is wrong costs us the right to choose who we deal with personally and as a business owner. For example, any business that sells alcohol or tobacco products is REQUIRED by law to discriminate based on age. Businesses that give discounts to seniors are discriminating. Clubs that require paid memberships are discriminating. Our problem is that what is allowed and not allowed is so vaguely defined, that it comes down to which judge hears your case as to how the case is decided and that's a VERY bad thing.

Well certainly Christian discrimination against gay people, for no other reason then the fact that they are gay, is one of the unacceptable forms of discrimination.

So this isn't about stopping all discrimination, it's about stopping just one type that you dislike... Sad to see that you WON'T do what's right and insist on just doing what's demanded of you by your ideology. It's attitudes like your that lead to discrimination, not stop it. You choose what you find acceptable and base it ENTIRELY on your own personal bigotry and nothing else. In this case, you would stop one group of people from doing something, but allow others to do the same thing. When will the left learn that you stop problems by addressing the root cause, not by attacking their target of the moment???

Sorry dude, try as you may, equal rights isn't an ideology. I would be criticising the gay owners of a bakery were they to deny you service on the basis of your Christianity, too!!!
