Actor Jamal Trulove, who was wrongfully convicted of murder in 2010, claims then-San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris laughed when his guilty verdict was delivered.
The claim came in a conversation with celebrity podcast “The Art of Dialogue.” Trulove in that appearance recounted his experience of being framed for murder, which he was later acquitted of and awarded $13.3 million.
Harris allegedly never spoke to Trulove during his trial. Their brief interaction in the courtroom, he said, came across as insensitive.
“I’ll never forget, I turned around and I looked, and I saw Kamala Harris,” he said. “We locked eyes this one time and she laughed. She literally just like kind of busted out laughing, almost as if she was pointing at [me] like ‘hahaha.’”

And she believed he got one. Do you have evidence she knew that the police in that case had evidence it wasn't him? Do you have actual evidence she was in the courtroom when it was her assistant DA who tried the case? You are a progressive, right?
Kamala Harris was a DA who cared more about her conviction record than ensuring people get a fair trial.

He got over a million dollars from the city after his conviction was overturned and the officers sued. She didn't try his case. Did Trump ever apologize to anyone, ever besides "we're so sorry for your loss"?Did she even apologize to Mr. Trulove for the suffering and pain she caused him and his family?
Are there any other witnesses to this event? It sounds like it was in the middle of the courtroom, if it went down as described.Actor falsely accused of murder says VP Harris laughed during guilty verdict

Almost all DAs care more about their conviction record. And, defense attorneys care more about their clients not being convicted. That's what criminal law is all about. It's the judges who care about ensuring that the accused gets a fair trial. You are a progressive, right?
