According to at least one gop representative, high prices are good for the country. Trump supporters, please explain this to us morons.

From everything I've read, most people don't think high prices are good for the country. If you are one of those who agrees, please explain.

Well, if I were explaining it to a "moron" I would say you need to apply critical thinking when the party in power is explaining the cause or effect of bad economic news. Not unlike the last administration's (and its defenders') attempts to explain how a President has no impact on the price of goods and services. You need to understand that public officials often lie and their critics -- even if their critics are people with whom you generally do not agree -- can sometimes be right.

Anyone have any idea where the story came from, which "GOP representative" said something?

Well, you did preface your comment by saying you had to make it super dumb 🤣

Several sources report that Republican South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman has claimed that while prices are going up, it's "for the good of the country

Once again defending republicans.

Once again defending republicans.
They spent 4 years insisting Biden was responsible for everything including their inability to tie their own shoelaces. Now that they're in power, they want to have nuanced conversations about inflation.

I should also add youd think such devout free marketers would be a little angry at this regime for installing a more communist take on capitalism but that would require having a set of beliefs.

That's rich. A "progressive" worried about high prices? You guys invent scarcity - massive restrictions on the supply of housing, and healthcare by piling on red tape and bureaucracy, and then pretending to be surprised when prices skyrocket.

As we write progressive morons in california are regulating oil refineries out of business, which will result in much higher prices for consumers.

Of course the high prices are all the Democrats fault even though they didn't start to rise until trump's tariffs.
