A line of Guys on the knees crawling with their necks cocked and locked. :2razz:

But wait until they go home to their districts, that's when the real Fun begins.

Speaking figuratively lest I face arrest, these Goppers have furthered their efforts to benefit the Rich at the expense of the Poor. Count on the Resistance to take Names and Kick some GOP Ass!

When a Country as rich as ours uses Gobbledygook Mumble-Jumble that reduces quality Healthcare for millions of Americans, you know we need a change in our Leadership Dynamic!

These House Goppers rushed this vote without Public Scrutiny or a CBO analysis. Please, if you do not approve of the vote results, make sure you let at least one of the Congressmen who voted for this bill know how you feel!

People are going to learn really quick, that they got screwed, well those who haven't already learned.

I think the Republicans just removed that albatross around the Democrat's neck known as the ACA and put it around around their own neck. Depending on what happens in the senate, I fully expect a repeat of 2010 in 2018, except this time the Republican House will be on the receiving end. The Republicans just made the same mistake the Democrats did in 2010. Back in 2010 the majority of Americans opposed the ACA and the Democrats said to hades with the majority of Americans. Today the majority of Americans oppose the repeal of the ACA and the Republicans are saying to hades with the majority of Americans. But more important, outside of public approval or non-approval is that in 2010 the Democrats rushed the ACA through congress although it wasn't ready and needed much more work. They feared a filibuster in the senate since Ted Kennedy had died and Scott Brown was scheduled to take his seat soon. So the not ready for prime time ACA was passed.

This year instead of taking their time to get it right, the Republicans have rushed through the bill to repeal and replace. It will have flaws galore just like the ACA. This is the GOP's funeral. Oh well, I like divided government. That gives us some checks and balance in Washington. The albatross has been passed.

If they are smart, they won't. This is a poison bill.

The ACA was screwing them already, but they will probably be screwed that much harder. Remember with all these insurance companies pulling out of the ACA, come next year there will be five states with just one insurance company to choose from. That is no choice, that is a take what they offer no matter what. It was reported in yesterdays USA Today that Iowa won't have any and nine states will have but two insurance companies to choose from.

Regardless, I would wager the GOP just made a dire situation worse.

I remember the Insurance Industry before 2008.

If anyone tells to their Insurance Premiums weren't going up then, they're lying.

I remember people where getting dropped left and right.

Personally, I how people get exactly what they Voted for.

It is said we get the government we deserve.

Fortunately, we can anticipate an even tougher row to hoe in the Senate for this House Bill after the CBO scores it.

We get to watch the GOP and Team Trump ejaculate prematurely for this "Make More Americans Sick/TrumpCare" facade. Schemes reliant on Alternative Facts have a very short shelf life.

They are more than welcome to move to Canada.

I will say this until I am bleeding in the face. Everyone cannot have access to quality health care. Health care is a privilege for those that are responsible. disciplined, smart, and having savings.

... and are ignorant of our past.

It's amazing how quickly people forget what The ACA was needed in the first place, but don't worry, they'll remember the hard way ... again.

Responsibility. Discipline and Education

Wow ... I'm ... well what can you say.

I'm sure that's clearly explained in The Medical Journal some place.

Yeah, and I hear the loving, friendly Canadians don't even mind if you sneak across the border to get Canadian benefits.

Like you have an Emissary relationship with Justin Trudeau.

Today, you might want to celebrate this AHCA House Bill passage. None of escape our karma. This Bill has a long way to go and faces a lot of changes before we see it become Law. So now we both have cause to keep on smilin'!

Actually, more Canadians are sneaking into the U.S to get access to our health care.

Why when I click, no link takes me to the background?

Is that just your opinion?

What I do know is that Trudeau will be kissing Trump's feet after we put tariffs on Canada.

Does this happen before or after Trump builds the new Magnificent Wall paid for by Mexico?

I have $$ that a significant number of the House members passed it merely for show and to help get them reelected and know that it will not pass the Senate. This also protects them from any significant loss of votes if it actually was repealed. So it's going to give the appearance that they honestly did their part but that others caused it to fail.

The Fraser Institute, a Canadian public policy think tank, estimates that 52,513 Canadians received non-emergency medical treatment in the U.S. and other countries in 2014, a 25 percent jump from the roughly 41,838 who sought medical care abroad the previous year.

Here you go Mr. Cigar:

So very Trump-like of you to not differentiate between Canadians "coming to the United States" from "sneaking in to the United States".

The article references HealthCare rankings - Did you notice where United States ranks?

The Commonwealth Fund, a U.S. think tank, released a report two years ago ranking Canada 10th out of 11 wealthy nations in terms of health care. Only the United States fared worse. The report, based largely on satisfaction surveys by patients and health-care providers, placed Canada last in timeliness of care. The United Kingdom was ranked No. 1

... and are ignorant of our past.

It's amazing how quickly people forget what The ACA was needed in the first place, but don't worry, they'll remember the hard way ... again.

To some it was needed, to others not so. That is why at first, back in 2009 and 2010 only around 40% of all Americans were for it and around 55% against it. If you had insurance, most people were either happy with it or satisfied. They didn't want a major overhaul, they wanted those who didn't have health insurance a way to get it, but to leave them alone.

The problem is most Americans don't like huge gigantic steps, they like little steps at a time. They are use to doing things one way, comfortable with it. They don't want to be taken out of their comfort zone. The ACA did just that, although the ACA had no effect on at least half of all Americans and probably more. Being taken out of their comfort zone resulted in a 63 seat loss for the Democrats in the 2010 midterm.

I think this will have the same effect to the Republicans. The people are now comfortable with the ACA, it may be in trouble with insurance companies pulling out leaving some states next year with but one health insurance company. Five if I remember the article right along with 9 having but two to choose from.

From my perspective the ACA has many problems, some probably fatal. I think the GOP's repeal and replace will have just as many problems and perhaps many more. But what is needed is for the two parties to sit down together and work to fix healthcare. Could it be the name is what is causing all the problems? By that I mean the Democrats want to fix Obamacare, but if fixing Obama care to suit all of Americas healthcare needs means changing the name, they won't do it. If keeping the name Obamacare while adopting fixes the Republicans like that would enhance the overall healthcare, the Republicans won't do it.

Stalemate, checkmate, all Americans lose. What do you think?
