Unlimited access pre-viability; restricted access after viability. No blanket bans at any stage.

Abortion should be handled as medical procedure subject to all the norms and protocols that all medical procedures are subject to. There should no legislative restrictions.

Hi Blondie, the first thing I think we should do, whether Democrat or Republican, is liberate the doctors, so they can practice without fear of reprisal.

Then, after fifteen weeks, fifteen days for both father and mother.

Not too much for a high school student to pay in a couple months. Not too much jeopardy for the one making the decision. Not going from Wade to throwing the book.

Medical excuses, life or critical health of the mother, mental health not included, those born with special needs exempt, may kill and jail with impunity.

Why, being chopped up before 15 weeks is acceptable, after is not.

So some will learn abortion is wrong.

I'm not a doctor, so it's not up to me to determine a limit. You wouldn't want me determining the limits of when you should get heart surgery, so you wouldn't want me determining this either.

No ban, but i'm good with having some restrictions past 16 weeks for abortions that are entirely elective and there aren't any health factors involved.

Exactly. So what's our problem? Why do we make abortion such a big issue when it's really not?
For the same reason you make everything involving personal choice such a big deal!

G.O.P. politicians:

Abortion : A mental health issue, the women will later regret murdering the miracle of innocent life developing inside of her, so it must be banned

Trans therapy : A mental health issue, the patient will later regret physical alteration, mutilation by chemical and surgical means, so it must be banned

Gun deaths and injuries : A mental health issue, guns don't kill people, our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families of mentally ill trans and other shooters!

That's just it, it's a personal choice. That choice is between a woman and her doctor and is no one else's business or concern.
Don't assume things, because I would think 25 weeks goes without saying.
25 weeks is at least a reasonable compromise between both sides of the issue. Although for many anti-abortionists, even that is not good enough.

No ban. The GQP needs to keep their fat noses out of people's bedrooms and doctor's offices. Cut off those old bastard's viagra shipment, that would cause less rapes, incest rapes and unwanted pregnancies.

Not just the GOP, but everyone needs to mind their own business in such matters.

Late-term abortions almost exclusively happen for one of three reasons.
1. The fetus is malformed and will not survive outside the mother's womb. To force someone to continue such a pregnancy is cruel, inhumane, and pointless.
2. The pregnancy endangers the life of the mother. Usually, 1 and 2 are combined. If the fetus is missing part of its skull or a bone is exposed it would catch and rip the woman's uterus on the way out. Better to remove it before it gets any bigger.

3. Stupid Republican regulations made it hard for the woman to get the Abortion earlier delaying the procedure. Eliminate Republican laws, and this problem goes away.
