I don't think it's conceivably possible to force me to kill my kid. I certainly wouldn't do so of my own free will.

My life is secondary to my daughter's. I would die to defend her. The thought that other parents kill their offspring for personal gain is nauseating.

I'm not sure that's entirely true.

Remove all legal consequences for my actions and I'm sure I'd have more free time and more money if I could pay someone a nominal fee to kill my daughter.

I just wouldn't do that. Not only because she's more than worth any inconvenience, but more germane to this conversation, it's also because I'm not evil as f**k./
 
I don't believe my gender has much to do with my position on abortion... so not much would change.


personally, i'm opposed to abortion... politically, it's not my place to dictate to others on the matter.

Its a moral character question. A person of sound moral character will never kill their child and would die without question so that their child can live. People that decide to pick themselves over their children are not people I personally want to be around.

Except that an embryo is NOT a child and you have no right to call it that. It is an embryo and its fate is in the hands of the woman who carries it inside her. No law can change that fact.

I have the right to call it whatever I want. For example, If I want to call it a pepperoni pizza that is my right. Do you understand how this works?

Second, according to many dictionaries I can call a fetus a child.

The question is more complex than you realize I'm afraid.

You see, I would kill him and then I would find myself in prison. In some states prisons do not pay for abortions or provide the service, so I might not have the choice to begin with. Though no I would not need the state to tell me to do the right thing.
