ABC News Amy Robach caught on hot mic complaining that ABC spiked Epstein-Clinton story in 2016

Pretty damning. For what it is worth, here is her (read: ABC Corporate's) response to the video:



But note, she made this complaint fairly recently, stating that she had the Epstein story "for three years", and her story was based on an interview in 2015.

The issue here is that 1) The story was spiked at all, and 2) the story involving the Clintons was spiked during the 2016 election season.

While she claims that "nobody told her to stop reporting on Jeffrey Epstein"... well, duh. Hillary lost anyway.

Now somebody ask her what in her story did not meet ABC reporting standards... other than the obvious that it interfered with the chances of their preferred presidential candidate, that is.
 
There are no "news" outlets left in the USA. All of the MSM, press and Internet is now owned by the wealthiest corporations and people on earth, who use the information outlets they own for propaganda for their own economic and power interests. Accordingly, they will report nothing that is against their profit and power goals - and make any outright false claims also that serve their profit and power goals.

As Joe Biden explained, "facts" are irrelevant and not accepted. Only the "truth" people are told to believe matters - whether true or false.
 
Talk about crickets... Maybe it's because she mentioned the involvement of Bill Clinton... Which btw, I suspect is a big part of the reason that ABC and the rest of the MSM for years, did everything in their power to avoid reporting on this story.

Have you expressed outrage at Trump in threads about their cozy relationship? Concern about a 'suicide' in federal prison while Trump is in office and Epstein starts to go down? Anything like that?

Let me be the first to say that it's shameful that ABC didn't want to upset the many rich and famous individuals associated with Epstein and, in turn, allow horrific crimes to continue.
 
ABC should be congratulated for spiking the story.

Too much gossip and insinuation pass as "news" nowadays.

That's why most Americans mistrust the media and prefer to stay with their "own" media.

Conservatives believe FOX.

Liberals believe CNN and MSNBC.

Genuine independents believe none of them.
 

So how do independents get the news? From Facebook who refuses to fact check political adds? Horse cocky!

No story should be spiked, but Epstein harms Trump more than it does Clinton. Trump has been accused of raping an underage girl alongside Epstein. So pick your battles carefully.

Except that there is evidence with Clinton. He flew on Epstein's "Lolita Express" over 30 times, stayed on Epstein's private rape island... and in this thread the journalist investigating Epstein said she had evidence on Clinton...

  • Epstein’s brother Mark testified that Epstein once took Trump on one of his planes to go from Florida to New York, saying he thought it happened in the late 1990s. Mark Epstein also told the Post Trump flew on Epstein’s plane “numerous times.”
  • At some point around the time of Epstein’s legal problems, the friendship appears to have ended. Trump has spread the story that he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for making sexual advances to a masseuse. However, the New York Times reported that by some accounts the two men only fell out “after a failed business arrangement between them.” The Washington Post reports that they were rival bidders for the same Palm Beach estate (Trump won).

Also, while Clinton was in Epstein's 'black book', Trump was in there with a star by his name.

Vox's list is a bunch of uncorroborated rumors other than that Trump and Epstein were at each others events until early 2000s where in there is photo evidence.

With Clinton you get flight logs, you get photos palling with Epstein on his island, etc etc.

Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, and your only claim here that would be interesting at all is the one that you didn't pull from Vox. Where did you read Trump had a star by his name in Epstein's black book?

Are we talking about the same ABC that put Julie Swetnik and her slimeball now-imprisoned lawyer Michael Avenatti on the air multiple times to repeat her ludicrous and never even remotely corroborated accusation of gang-rape by Brett Kavanaugh?

ABC pulling the Epstein story had nothing to do with corroboration. It was about ABC worried they'd never get an interview with Megan Markle after they accused Prince Andrew of being a child-rapist. Or maybe it was George Stephanopolis protecting his former boss Bill Clinton, whose reelection campaign he managed.

But in general I don't even trust my own media. It's all spin. My side's spin against your side's spin.

So when the story was about Clinton the story was spiked and when it came to Trump Epstein was spiked.

Yes, of course it's all about Clinton, although Trump had his own links to Epstein and hired the BUSH II-appointed US Attorney, Acosta, that gave Epstein the sweet, sweet deal for a cabinet position, and that deal was approved at the top of the BUSH II DoJ. And he was allegedly murdered according to your video under the supervision of the BARR DoJ. But, sure, make it all about Bill Clinton and the evil Democrats. CLINTON!!! CLINTON!!! CLINTON!!! I have no confidence Bill Clinton was innocent in this sordid mess, but at the very least from what we KNOW of the scandal is it touched a lot of people at the very top of government, academia and business, and the reach was not partisan.
