Amanda Gorman is now a spokesperson on the abortion issue ... I think it is a good choice, but this should never have become such a big issue a the federal level and I cannot say I agree with all DETAILS she expresses here: , but I have to say that such details should be worked out by PROFESSIONALS using common sense and mutual RESPECT and with local, not federal, sensitivities in mind. This should not be funded federally or controlled federally. People need to stop trying to control each other with a single value system and trying to make others pay for their own lifestyle choices.... Live by your own code and allow others to do the same!

Keep abortion legal in all 50 states with no conservative/religious caveats.

... and while it is kept legal do you expect federal tax money from those same religious conservatives to keep paying for those abortions? The problem is not that people have different opinions on how to live. The problem is when they expect others to 'buy' into their own philosophy ...

I don't have kids, but I've paid a lot of taxes for schools. Shit happens.
