Lets go back to 2000 in Florida. Republicans win, Democrats scream "disenfranchisement" and "count all the votes". Fast forward to 2008, oops I mean 2009. Democrats win in Minnesota, Republicans scream "disenfranchisement" and "count all the votes".

I am reminded here of George Orwell's Animal Farm, where you couldn't tell who was man or pig at the end of the book. Orwell was a prophet, and what he prophesied also applies to political parties. They are both the same, with the same arguments. They will bash each other for "stupidity", yet call that stupidity "the truth" when the shoe is on the other foot. As I suggested a year ago, just merge the Democratic and Republican parties, and be done with it. Also have a new logo to represent them - A donkey's ass sticking out of an elephant's ass.

For those who have read Orwell, you might be asking "But who is man and who is pig here". Of course the answer is a no-brainer, considering that they are ALL at the trough, Republicans and Democrats alike. But that is for another chapter.

It's very true. I think both parties are mirrors of each other, but that's just me.

One side is usually guilty of the same mannerisms that they criticize the other side of doing.
