I knew a trans female who was a fundamentalist christian and a homophobe. She hated herself for being trans and when I stopped talking to her she was still in the closet and likely still is 20 years later.

a tans female has been raped everywhere she went in ussr . In Army , Friends , in Police station , birthday parties , everywhere a gang-bang waited her, you know GULAG culture but maybe she likes his way ? this picture is a classical oxymoron
 
I don't find it surprising that mentally unwell people gravitate toward ideologies that market themselves to the most mentally unwell members of society. Even if those ideologies are opposed to one another.
