A simple solution to Trump/Republicans' hatred of Obamacare

Just scratch off the "Obama" part and rename it "TrumpCare" and MAGA would love the plan. Trump would suddenly love TrumpCare even though not a goddamned thing had been changed in it. Then the 50 million people who rely on Trumpcare would be able to keep their ACA, the Republicans would stop trying to repeal it, MAGA would embrace it and everybody wins. What wrong with this idea?

We all know Trump only hates Obamacare because Obama had the smarts to accomplish what Trump never had the brains to be able to do. Let Trump take the glory he's always craved away from Obama. In the end 50-75 million Americans who are on TrumpCare win.

Sure he would, because he hasn't got anything better to offer the people. He's been farting promises out his ass for almost 10 years that he was going to devise a better healthcare plan. So where is it, Mycroft? Where is this brilliant healthcare plan that your Great Orange God has been promising us is only two weeks away for the last 10 years? Oh, wait. I forgot. He does have "CONCEPTS" of a plan.

His best plan would be to toss Obamacare in the trash and let things go back to the way they were...with a few minor modifications...before that Obamacare monstrosity was ever Grubered onto the American population.

But, of course, Congress won't let that happen.

In any case, it's not up to Trump to replace Obamacare with anything. That's the job of Congress.
 
Heath care existed fine before Obamacare. Trump should just hit the <del> key.

Then why does Trump keep saying, "I saved Obamacare. Lots of people told me to let it die but I said that wouldn't be right. So I fixed Obamacare as best I could"? Your Great Orange God takes credit for fixing it. And he keeps saying he has "CONCEPTS" of a healthcare plan. So why do you keep talking out of both sides of your mouth as usual?

He's already (absurdly) pivoted to trying to take credit for it. From last week:

"I said, 'We really have an obligation to make it as good as we can,' and we did. We made it as good as we can make it. Instead of, instead of making it bad, where everybody would be calling for its repeal, I made it so that it works. Now, it works —"​

No shame. But at least, finally, an acknowledgement that Obamacare works.
