Last night in the debate Hillary chided Bernie for not releasing his tax forms. She was right to do that. Reportedly Sanders makes less in a year than Hillary makes in one speech. We shall soon see when we see Sander's taxes. In the meantime here is a list - compiled by the Weekly Standard - of Hillary's speeches, who she addressed and how much she was paid.
Anyone who doesn't believed that Hillary is owned by corporate interests is lying or stupid. A lot.
According to Huffington Post,...
"Two Canadian banks tightly connected to promoting the controversial Keystone XL pipeline in the United States either fully or partially paid for eight speeches made by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the period not long before she announced her campaign for president. Those speeches put more than $1.6 million in the Democratic candidate’s pocket."
Banks Behind Hillary Clinton's Canadian Speeches Really Want The Keystone Pipeline

To me it seems quite obvious that someone like Hillary is not going to change the system that is destroying American democracy, the Middle Class and the financial futures of most Americans. She cannot change that system. She is a major player in that system.

A 75-year-old self-declared socialist looks like the best candidate from either side.
Not a good year to have the first-overall draft pick.
Over 21 million in under 2 years. Just for speaking. What lengths would the average human being go to to maintain that opportunity? What lengths would the average politician go to? What lengths would Shillary go to?
Love the humor...................but Bernie being the best? I can imagine that a turd from the pipe drains of the Ritz Calton, tasting the same as a local tavern.
A colourful analogy. Who's worth voting for? I don't mean who's the least bad, who's good?
Damn, here in Canada we just elected possibly the most inexperienced, most naive, most vulnerable leader in the free world but I wouldn't trade him for any of that lot you guys have to chose from this time around.
Finding a acorn from Pierre's tree isn't exactly a great fine either?
I follow Canada fairly close. All my Family are from NFLD , PEI, and Nova Scotia. I am first generation state side.

It was our version of the best available. If you know Canadian politics, you probably know Steven Harper. Would he make a good Republican nominee?
On second thought, he might be a Democratic nominee. Either way...

This so called election campaign is so making Trudeau look scholarly, composed, and confident.
Eeeoooow....
Can you imagine what American talk show hosts would do with him shaking his son's hand dropping him off at elementary school? It's bad enough they keep playing his famous quote "Marijuana is dangerous, more dangerous than cigarettes".
But, you know, I see him as a very nice antidote to Trump. Too bad he wasn't born in the USA, we could pawn him off on them.

Everyone in the USA who thinks there's a good Presidentail candidate in this circus is in denial.

I don't believe Hillary is owned by corporate interests. The speaking circuit is lucrative it doesn't make you a slave to the companies you speak to. The people who believe that are replacing logic with blind cynicism.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2016/02/05/what-hillary-clinton-should-say-but-cant-about-her-wall-street-speaking-fees/?tid=a_inlIf Clinton was really being forthright about the speeches, here’s what she’d say:
You want to know why they paid me hundreds of thousands of dollars to give a speech? It’s because I’m famous and important, and the people who have that kind of money like to brush up against famous and important people. The executives want to get their picture taken chatting with me so they can put it up on their “brag wall.” They want to tell their buddies on the golf course, “Well here’s what I told Hillary Clinton …” It feeds their egos. And the money? Yeah, it’s hard to turn down that kind of money. So I go, I talk for an hour about the complex challenges America faces in an ever-changing world, blah blah blah, do the grip-and-grin and get a six-figure check. You would too, if you could.
Much as I disliked him for his cavalier attitude to parliamentary democracy, much as I distrust anyone with those fundamentalist religious views, much as he presented stony and cold and inapproachable, he would be my choice if he and I were Americans. Given the choices this cycle, I mean.
Ever since television presentation was the difference between Nixon and Kennedy the situation has gone downhill. I don't know what your opinion of Chretien was (personally, I mostly approved of him) but, a homely little guy with a facial paralysis, he could never have been elected in the US.
