A former neighbor of Joe Biden's accuser Tara Reade has come forward to corroborate

At this point I do not know if Reade's allegation lacks credibility. She does have corroborating evidence. Not only her brother, but several other people (including a neighbor, who has admitted she is a supporter of Joe Biden). Its too early at this point for me to say that her allegations are not credible. You, of course are free to enthusiastically declare Reade's allegations have no credibility. We will both be left to see what direction this takes.
 

I don't know why that's not obvious to everyone. It appears the wagons have already been circled.
 

So are you ok with Reade facing some sort of Senate hearing, testify and that's it? Or do you expect a thorough investigation, including witnesses?

Dr Ford had corroborating evidence and witnesses. Unfortunately, the weren't allowed to help her. Are you hoping Ms Reade will get a better opportunity?

I would have no issues with Reade being heard in a Senate hearing, and Joe Biden having the opportunity to defend himself, while both under oath. Just as with the Ford hearing, witnesses could also be called.

What witnesses were called during the Cavenaugh hearing?

Yeah, my problem with this is that along with Reade's own constantly changing story, her brother changed his own story to fit Tara's new revelations. That's weird. And in combination with not naming Biden in her complaint and her decision not to take him to court, she's avoided any scenario in which she testified under oath, and neither does he. And her complaint was filed literally the day after Biden became the presumptive nominee.

It makes me think all of it is manufactured.
 
At this point, I see no reason to believe it was fabricated. Now with that being said, its possible my opinion may change as we hear more about the claim. It would help if Joe Biden would personally address and take questions about Reade's claims. Time will tell.

Biden Accuser, Tara Reade, Allegedly Stole from Non-Profit Organization

And the one friend who is backing up the assault claim doesn't make sense. Reade was supposedly in an abusive relationship and that is why she divorced her husband. And the friend states the conversation was about a custody battle that was stressing her out (not much details about that), but that Tara then started crying and telling her a story about being sexually assaulted by a Senator, her ex-boss, Biden (whom the friend claims to never heard of at the time yet remembers his name 20 years later?). How did a conversation about child custody issues, even if it involved abusive relationships, lead to an admission to a neighbor about sexual assault, yet she wasnt willing to tell the police or press a year earlier about it? She claims she didnt tell anyone but her best friend, mother and brother, and now suddenly she told a random neighbor in a very strange conversation, including his name? It doesnt make sense. Shouldn't such a conversation have naturally went into abuse she suffered from her own husband?

Except Presidential nominees do not face Senate hearings, SC Justices do. If Reade wants a day in court, she can in fact bring a civil suit against Biden. Yet she wasnt even willing to name him on the police report.

She has been telling her story, the same right all women have. She in fact has gotten her story farther than most people ever would. Most women dont even get news stories written about their allegations, how they were assaulted. She doesnt have a right to a Senate hearing.

It seems unlikely that the"the adults" will be a able to take charge or even have access to the levers of power pulled by the narrative devoted media elites on the left.

The initiated among the Democrat-Socialist Party no longer even question things that make absolutely no sense.

My cousin who is a dyed in the wool Democrat-Socialist sees no issues whatever with accepting verbatim EVERYTHING said by Blassy-Ford and rejecting out of hand EVERYTHING said by Reade.

It's really quite amazing.

She sees absolutely no conflict in logic between accepting one completely and rejecting the other completely.

Amazing! Now THIS is indoctrination!

I do understand that. Looking forward to Joe Biden personally addressing this issue. Hopefully, he will take questions. It wouldbe his time to tell his side.
