WashingtonPost.com: Nixon Forces Firing of Cox; Richardson, Ruckelshaus Quit

Some of us in the older non 35% "koolaide club" may remember the firestorm that Nixon created when he fired Archibald Cox for not complying with his "orders". As a measure of "collateral damage", this ordeal would also end up costing Robert Bork a seat on the Supreme Court.

Now, while we know that Trump takes presidential incompetence to a "never before seen" level, I doubt that he is even this "new to the job" POTUS is dumb enough to repeat Nixon's huge political blunder.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

* The Trump "friend's" comments about Trump "thinking about firing Mueller" is nothing but the latest attempt by Trump at deflection. Trump has used this surrogate to do this type of tactic before.

* The rank and file DC Republican's would rather have Pence as president anyway.

the media picture of trump is the cia picture of trump.
so much about it.

public opinion is created, manufactured by the media.
what to say about the media that forget the content of talks and always show handshaking between trump and others.
6 companies own all media in the US and they collaborate with the cia.

Would Rosenstein fire Mueller or Sessions un-recuse himself would be my question.

So what? That perpetual jammering is just so uninteresting.
