There was a gigantic, unacountable rush of internet posters all pushing the same weird "theory" about the buildings being pre-wired with explosives so they could fall right after planes hit them. It always smelled like an obvious disinformation campaign to me. But why - why have a disinformation campaign like that? It reminds me of the push for a "second shooter" in the Kennedy assassination. I think in the case of Kennedy, it was meant to distract public opinion from ruminating on the basic fact that Oswald had defected for Russia and trained for several years over there before coming back for this mission. They wanted people to fixate on the how, not the why. And in the case of Osama bin Laden -- Bush, and Giuliani, sure had a lot to gain by being attacked. It let them 'justify' funneling TRILLIONS of dollars away from the American population. It just required, somehow, that bin Laden be motivated to do the attack. That's what they don't want you to think about: the why, not the how.

All these conspiracies about 9/11 are bloody stupid.
The event was investigated by agencies all over the world as people from everywhere died in the tragedy.
Plenty of UK citizens who worked in the area died.
