That is surprising to me.
 
The first rule of exit polls is to be careful about interpreting early exit polls, which aren’t always accurate.

Another exit poll has Jewish support at its lowest in decades. We'll have to wait for better data.

The Jewish vote, with some few exceptions, often goes to Democrats.

Meanwhile, Trump did do better than some prior Republican candidates.

I know Jewish people right now making plans to escape America. They're way too scared of what will happen under Trump and too smart to not know the past.

This is not surprising. I live in a very diverse community, and do not know one Jewish person who supported Trump.

Goysplaining?

As a Ha'aretz column once explained, goysplaining is the tendency of non-Jewish people to "condescendingly explain to Jews why they are wrong at being offended."
