45-foot statue of a nude woman

Originally created for Burning Man in 2015 by sculptor Marco Cochrane, the stainless steel figure now stands outside the Ferry Building, casting a long (and anatomically detailed) shadow over a city where fewer and fewer people seem impressed by spectacle.

 
OK, I'm going to weigh in on this. This is an ugly statue to begin with. Is there a reason why she has no HANDS? or feet? Please....

What I see missing in the world is an appreciation and respect for feminine energy and power that results when women are free and safe. It seems obvious to me that feminine energy is being suppressed and that this must change. If we are to find real, lasting solutions to the problems facing humanity, men and women must be able to work together as equals. Bliss Dance is intended to focus attention on this issue.

Bliss Dance, Truth is Beauty and R-Evolution collectively form The Bliss Project, a trilogy of steel sculptures. The model for each piece was the singer and dancer Deja Solis.[5] Cochrane met Solis in 2006 and asked her to model for a work in progress. During their fifth collaboration, Solis advanced the idea for the pose that would be sculpted as Bliss Dance.[2]

Okay, what's the big deal? There's a long tradition of cities exhibiting works of art in public spaces. I'm sure the work is not to everyone's taste, but neither is it offensive. It's not a permanent exhibit.

I fail to see what the big deal is. There are tons of nude sculptures throughout history.
 
My goodness, you folks need glasses! You really cannot see that see-thru outfit that lady is wearing? She is dressed down to her ankles. I admit, though, the neckline of the outfit is a tad low and some might take issue with that.

What is of much interest to me is where she has her meals when it is break time for her to get down and go eat? Doorway where she goes to have meals must be something.

And those steroids she must have been given must be . . . Well, that is probably a trade secret.

I have no idea what you're talking about. They aren't sisters. There are three statues of the same model, a dancer, in different poses. The artist and model collaborated on the works.
