Schiff warned Senate Republicans during the impeachment trial that if Trump is acquitted for his corrupt behavior, then it will embolden Trump to be even more corrupt and reckless. We have obviously seen that during the past few weeks with the removals of these inspector generals and with the attempt to overturn Michael Flynn's guilty verdict. I'm sure many, if not most, of these Senate Republicans now regret their impeachment vote.

Trump must be defeated in November if any semblance of our American democratic values, institutions, and traditions are going to survive. Having said that, it's a pretty weak justification that you offer for Trump's dictatorial actions -- The other side is "bad" and full of "pinheads", so the rule book and democracy goes out the window, and Trump gets to do whatever he wants. How logical.
