Utah seems to have a problem with people at public gatherings. https://debatepolitics.com/threads/...t-salt-lake-city’s-‘no-kings’-protest.571351/

Maybe they shouldn't allow such events

3 dead, including bystander woman and infant, in shooting at Utah festival

Three people were killed, including an 8-month-old infant, in a shooting that occurred Sunday, June 15 after an altercation broke out between two groups of people at a festival in Utah, police say.

Five people were hit by gunshots, of which three were fatal, during the WestFest at Centennial Park in West Valley City, a city of about 145,000 people located 12 miles from Salt Lake City. WestFest is an annual four-day festival celebrating the city, according to the festival's website. This year the event ran from June 12 to 15, and featured a carnival, a parade, a talent showcase, rides and fireworks.

Where were all the good guys with guns?

Shooting in crowds? Maybe it was just good judgement. There was a man concealed carrying when Gabby Gifford was shot...he said he didnt have a clear shot. That's restraint and good sense. I dont know why people just assume there's no one there...sometimes it's basic responsibility and judgement.

OTOH I dont support that anyway...we're not police, it's not our job to risk our lives for others, and we will face the full force of law if our bullets harm bystanders or property.

It was a rhetorical question. Guns everywhere is not a good plan.

Utah needs a law banning 16 year olds from buying handguns.
