Man, Trump turned our country to shit in less than 6 months.

PS: If you're outside the US don't come here.

"Both pictures had been automatically saved to my camera roll from a chat app, but I really didn’t think that these innocent pictures would put a stop to my entry into the country,” Mikkelsen said.

Mikkelsen claims he pleaded with agents that the photos were a joke, but they still searched him and forced him to give blood samples and document his fingerprints."

This meme depicting a digitally altered JD Vance became popular in February. A tourist from Norway claims that having it on his phone is why he was denied entry into the United States.

"Mikkelsen told Nordlys he was traveling to the U.S. to visit friends in New York City and then in Austin, Texas. He also planned to visit multiple national parks with his mom, who he said planned to fly to the country and meet up with him at a later date.

“They demanded full information about everyone I was going to meet in the U.S., including name, address, phone number, and what they did for work,” Mikkelsen told the newspaper."

If he tried to enter a Iran with a meme of the Ayatollah they’d saw his head off and send it back to Norway in a basket.

That's a shame, most people from other countries know better, word travels about the trump regime and the state of what used to be 'America'.

If he tried to enter a Iran with a meme of the Ayatollah they’d saw his head off and send it back to Norway in a basket.
That's a pretty desperate comparison to defend some bullshit. Yay we're not quite as bad as Iran, yet.

If he tried to enter a Iran with a meme of the Ayatollah

Comparing "the land of the free, home of the brave" to Ayatollah's Iran for the win.

And

they’d saw his head off and send it back to Norway in a basket.

No, they wouldn't. Most likely, they'd tell him he can't enter and make him pay for his flight back home.

You're seriously making the case that we should be like Iran or some other authoritarian shithole while simultaneously arguing we should bomb like countries.

Welcome to the MAGAverse.

What a lovely comparison you choose to make....Amerikkka!

If my sister had balls she'd be my brother.
Makes exactly as much sense as your stupid post.

What if you show up at a customs point and don't have a cell phone?
Arrested, probably.

"Mikkelsen claims that immigration officials stopped him for questioning and quizzed him “about drug trafficking, terrorist plots, and right-wing extremism,” all of which he said was “totally without reason.” He says he was placed in a holding cell."

I imagine he was pulled aside about drugs. A long time ago I traveled to the Netherlands and was pulled aside about drugs. I do not do any drugs at all and did not attend any coffee houses there. They detected something for some reason unknown to me and went through my luggage with a fine tooth comb in front of me. This guy makes claims about other stuff all of it having nothing to do with his phone as they did not look at his phone at that point. He whines and gets his ten minutes of fame on the Daily Beast.

I imagine he was pulled aside about drugs.
Dude. They ask tons of people about drugs. You're just covering for snowflake Trump yet again.

What the **** happened to the "tough" Republican men??

They demanded. How nice.
Now, why this?
forced him to give blood samples
Was he carrying contaminated blood that could possibly harm JD?
Can't read the article, it might have explained what I am asking.

Ok, timeline in question

He was taken to a room guarded by armed officers
Why?
and forced to hand over his shoes, phone, and backpack. When he hesitated to unlock his phone, agents threatened imprisonment or a $5,000 fine, prompting him to comply.
Not very nice. I don't know if that is a common practice.
Upon accessing his phone, they discovered a meme of digitally altered JD Vance,
So after he was taken to a room they discovered.
He wasn't taken to the room because of the meme on his phone?
So why was he taken to the room?
made to appear chubby and bald, a popular image following Ukrainian President Zelensky’s contentious visit to the Oval Office in February. They also disapproved of a photo showing Mikkelsen with a homemade wooden pipe.
IDK, something doesn't add up.

"Trump is making America more like Iran, and that's good" certainly is a take.

Well, we ****ed up this time. We displayed a lack of humor in front of Northern Europeans.

We will never in a thousand years live this down.
