Hmmm...

"As stated in the complaint, more voters have sworn they voted for independent U.S. Senate candidate Diane Sare than the Rockland County Board of Elections counted and certified, directly contradicting those results. Additionally, the presidential election results exhibit numerous statistical anomalies. The anomalies in the presidential race include multiple districts where hundreds of voters chose the Democratic candidate Kirsten Gillibrand for Senate, but where zero voters selected the Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris."

"The Quiet Move

In 2024, a federally accredited lab named Pro V&V conducted a wave of hardware and software changes to ES&S voting machines. These were major changes—new ballot scanners, printer adjustments, updated firmware, and a new Electionware reporting system. But they were passed off as “de minimis” tweaks, a label meant for minor changes that don’t require full public review or testing.

However, as noted by Dissent in Bloom substack, the changes were anything but minor."

If there was an issue in Rockland, I hope it gets addressed - especially if it impacted the outcome for their local elections.

Is there any evidence that this alleged inaccuracy/issue was any more widespread than one county in NY?

I don't know but it sounds like this case is going to discovery which I'm sure will eventually include hand recounts.

It also interests me that the accredited company, that takes care of 40% of all counties in the United States, said they were doing a minor update on voting machines when it turns out it was a major update.

According to law, minor updates and major updates are done completely different. And I think overseen differently.

So during discovery and during this trial if they find that this software company broke the law that means that lawsuits could potentially be brought in 40% of all counties in the United States. By those voters.

I’ve seen the reporting on the story. I’d have to see a lot more evidence proving that the update resulted in disparity between the votes cast vs. the votes counted.

I work on the ground in just about every election at my local democratic HQ. I’m heading out here again this morning to go to HQ because it’s primary day in NJ, in fact.

We get reports as to who voted and when. From mail in ballots to early voter turnout - to essentially hourly reports as to voter turnout day of….down to the NAMES and addresses of voters. And party affiliation of those that have voted.

It’s how we know who still needs to be chased. (That’s where I come in - I call voters and try to get their butts to the polls. If I can’t get a voter out, we can send actual chasers on the ground…to knock on their door and try to get them there…even giving them a ride if they need it)

Every voter also has a “reliability” or “predictability” ranking. I’m a high reliable/predictable voter. I vote in every single election. No one ever knows HOW I vote, but everyone knows that i vote. In every.single.election. From fire commission to POTUS. I always vote.

Our numbers guy can project, typically within a very slim margin of error, as to what the official election results will be based on who voted and turnout.

I’d have to see some really compelling evidence to believe there was anything illegitimate going on. Something would have caught the attention of the “numbers guy” there back in November if there was something weird. It would have been flagged immediately…so I’m not necessarily buying into this until I see more details.

It just smells “off”

I think the compelling evidence (at least to the judge and the group who has standing who brought this lawsuit) is some of the stuff in the OP. For example...

"As stated in the complaint, more voters have sworn they voted for independent U.S. Senate candidate Diane Sare than the Rockland County Board of Elections counted and certified, directly contradicting those results"

And of course the part where people overwhelmingly voted for Kirsten Gillibrand (D, Senator) in some districts and exactly ZERO of those voters voted for Kamala Harris.

I believe that's why the judge is letting this proceed and I'm very interested what is discovered.

And remember, all they have to do is find some votes that weren't counted (due to software) and then that brings up all kinds of lawsuits.

I also still find two comments by Trump and Elon fascinating. The one where Trump said (before the election) that he had all the votes he needed and the one where Elon said anything can be hacked.

As I said, I’m going to need to see some really compelling data.

I’ve read about maybe a dozen voters and affadavits.

The data and evidence is going to have to show WAY more than that.

Yeah, I agree.

The graphs posted though (tons of votes for the Democratic Senator and none for Kamala) just seems totally out of whack to me.

Think about if that were the case for Trump/a Republican. Lots of votes for a Republican Senator and zero for Trump/Bush/Reagan/etc.

We saw a lot of that in 2020, where GOP voters voted for Republicans down ticket, but left the top blank, or voted third party, etc. For some odd reason, that became one of the major "stolen election" arguments Trump and MAGA leaned on, as if they couldn't comprehend that there might be Republican leaning voters who didn't want to pull the lever for their guy.
