I feel great, help is on the way with President Romney. Not surprising that rhetoric trumps substance in your world and just wondered how you expect the country to handle the 16 trillion dollar debt and the trillion dollar deficits each of the next four years added to that debt?

What the Democrat Party is trying to do is hide from the Obama rhetoric and doing so with flowery rhetoric without substance. They have no record to tout therefore their rhetoric will appeal to those who cannot think for themselves and don't have the the ability to get off the taxpayer dole. For a party that "cares" about the middle class they are doing everything possible to wipe it out as the median income is down 4000 since Obama took office. Didn't see Democrats reporting on any truthful economic record of Obama.

good find. i thought her speech was pretty good, although i did notice that she emphasized "good jobs." while some of the new jobs created could fit that definition, from what i've read, most aren't as good as the jobs shed. i think that's to be expected considering the glut of labor after the economic collapse, however.

i also caught part of Joe Kennedy III's speech, and thought that it was decent.

A viable, workable plan generates results, positive or negative. In Obama's case the economic results are negative thus makes one question as to what the next four years will bring if the policies of the past were such failures? A very simple question, is Obama running for election for the first time or for re-election?

The fact that you never post results says it all but is more accurate than you think. What did Michelle do last night to give us any indication that the next four years would be any different than the past four years? She introduced someone who has been in office for four years so does that make any sense to you?

President Obama's speech formally accepting the Democratic presidential nomination will be moved indoors due to "severe weather" forecast for Thursday in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Democratic National Convention Committee announced today.

Obama's major address, seen as the highlight of this week's convention, was originally planned to take place at Bank of America Stadium, which can seat nearly 74,000 people. Instead, the speech will be delivered in the Time Warner Cable Arena, site of the rest of the week's events in downtown Charlotte, which seats up to 20,000.

The convention has been hit by steady rain most of the week. Last week's Republican convention in Tampa, Florida, started a day later than planned due to Tropical Storm Isaac.

I remember liberals around here talking about how the hurricane was a sign of how God hates the Republicans. :roll:

1 cut taxes for the rich even further, while the shrinking middle class and poor carry more of the load

2 gut enviormental laws...another favor for some of his buds( eh, who the hell needs clean air, clean water)

3 continue to keep women as second class citizens, both in their health care and economically....

4 gut education funding (cutting pell grants.....even though he 'promises' that he will expand access to a quality education, and that he supports getting a quality education)

5 cut the social safety nets....medicare, food stamps, unemployment benefits ect.....(screw the poor , elderly, frickin' lazy bums

6 continue to go after unions(another favor to his buds)

nope, certainly can't see myself voting for this assclown

1) the tax cuts would overwhelmingly favor the rich, and on top of that, we are running a deficit, how much frickin sense does it make to keep cutting taxes, we can't pay our bills as is
