It's obvious you missed the President's speech last week. He outlined a very detailed plan for Iraq. Not the same 'stay the course' stuff that you have objected to for so long, but an altered direction, a more refined plan...with benchmarks and deadlines and a plan for handing the mission over to Iraq. Oh that's right, that isn't good enough for you. And the democratic plan is...? 20 deaths in one day -- 12 from an accident that could have happened anywhere -- is in your mind, "as bad as it can get"?
Please note that your source describes that as the WORST day for US losses since the way began in March 2003. If 20 in one day - 12 from an accident - is the WORST day of almost 4 years of war, then our casualties over the course of that 4 years of war must be pretty darn light.
