2 Israeli Embassy staff members killed in shooting outside of event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC

Violence against Jews, Synagogues, Israeli operations and Israel itself are to be expected, but are never acceptable.

I wouldn't be surprised if in this case the motivation was antisemitism disguised as political action.

People who disagree with Israel's actions in Gaza go out and protest. Antisemitic terrorists shoot people.

I hope they catch whoever did this and bung them in the slammer.

Nothing @Felis Leo said in that post was wrong or was about blaming Trump. Don't be a dick.
We had to wait until the morning for someone to blame Trump.

Yeah, it is. Trump's attacks on universities isn't germane to the targeting and murders of two young Israelis in DC.
You didn't even read the link. Typical.

Classic piece of victim blaming. The Jew haters will love this comment.

Extremism begets extremism. That's how this works.

Israel does not commit 'war crimes'. Pretending that is does may encourages further murders.

Israel has committed many war crimes, as has Hamas.
Heck, there is literally an arrest warrant out for Netanyahu for war crimes.

I think this is more of a gift to Palestinian haters, since you will be able to further justify cracking skulls and disappearing pro-Palestinian protestors. Jewish and otherwise.

Vigilantism is a terrible thing. It means the law has failed and people feel justified in being Judge, Jury and Executioner. Whether it's a CEO being shot or a couple of Israeli staffers being executed, it should be universally condemned. Otherwise there is no point in society.

While this is relevant news, put it in the context of 14,000 infants starving to death amidst the backdrop of a genocide. Choose your outrage wisely.

I think we can all agree this should be condemned.

Better still - be outraged by both.

Fresh out of outrage here. This is just the nature of war. The innocent suffer along with the guilty.

we live in stupid times.

For some people, the causal chain can never end until it gets to someone they hate :-/

Thread is gone.

There you go. I KNEW it was Trump's fault.

No one should be blaming anyone but the shooter.

Elias Rodriguez screaming "free Palestine" while killing two people does nothing more than align him to Hamas.

Casing an event at a Jewish museum looking for people to kill makes it an act of terrorism.

Terrorists suck.
But they don't suck enough that we can take away their student visas ore deport them. Thet would be a REAL crime against humanity. As long as it's just whites and Jews that get hurt the political left is fine with terrorism.

I wonder if this was inspired by that Luigi guy
