Appeals court lets Trump deploy Oregon National Guard to Portland

Of course, you, a known anti-Trump would think that.
I wish you would make up your mind. Show some consistency in your views. You're usually cheering for the judicial to check Trump, and when they do, but rule in his favor, they're crooks.
Ruling in his favor when he is clearly breaking the law is NOT a check.
The military is not supposed to enforce laws in this country.

I'm simply pointing out that tyrants often take power through the law. This an example of judges letting him militarize a city because he feels like it. The people there don't want it and there is no need for it. He wants to stoke conflict and violence so he can declare the Insurrection Act and take more power. Again, legally.

Hes been very clear about that.

I have done my own work, but you're the one making the point about Democrats not being vocal about Obama's deportations (which is untrue) and then not being able to express what the differences are between the two and why there is more outage at the current policy. I guess you can't defend your point and are flouncing. Your point doesn't stand for much since you won't even defend it.

You never know when to recognize when the discussion is over with me. I already told you what you can do with your strawman argument because my point stands.

You need to prove that Trump is a tyrant and has received power through the law.
Otherwise, I'm not interested in your dorky argument.

What I recognize is someone who cannot defend their point, and since this is a debate forum and not a blog site, it gets called out. It seems you don't understand what a straw man argument is since I asked you to clarify between both polices because you compared reactions between two administrations. Be sure to pick up your point that just fell and grab a goodie bag on the way out.
:)

A tyrant is an absolute ruler. This is what Trump aspires to. Sending troops to Portland is part of that. There are many others. He tears apart programs created by Congress, impounds funds allocated by Congress, ignores and threatens judges, seeks to control education, the media and the markets, militarizes society in order to tear apart our families and communities, politicizes the military and tries to overthrow free and fair elections.

He's been pretty clear about it.

Your opinion is not proof of anything. Prove what you write or stop bothering me.

All of these things result in giving him more power and other branches less.

Coming from you, this means a lot. 🫠

You watch now as to what comes next.
I decided to give it another shot with that poster, and now I remember why I shouldn't have.
That poster asked you to expand on your point and defend it. You chose this:

Your copy and pasting skills are impressive but you've failled to prove that Trump is a tyrant and has received power through the law.

Have a nice evening bothering someone else now. See ya tomorrow. :)

You did what was just and right. And for that you get kudos. MY life at this time is a challenge, I do not have the time to spend on this forum to counter all the naysayers. Glad there are a handful like you that do against the overwhelming number of TDS sufferers on this forum. Thank you.

I have proved that he has gained more and more power at the expense of the other branches and he plans on gaining more, and will rule with asvmych absolute power he can get.

That's a tyrant.

I haven't even touched on his efforts to control educatiin. the media and corporations.

The interesting thing about the Project 2025 playbook they launched with at the beginning for this administration is they correctly calculated the length of time it would take the judiciary to process all of the challenges to their actions, which has now allowed the administration to take action while things play out in the courts. It's dirty pool, but effective at achieving the initial impact, plus the calculation of placing MAGA aligned judges helps the process. In fairness, not all Trump appointed judges have toed the line, but many have.

Project much?
Nope. I'm not the one who flounced, plus I understand how the forum works that if I want messages to be private, I send PMs. It's clear you had no intention of debating your position, so the goodie bag's at the door. Ta ra!

I came home from seeing family last weekend, and then got one of the most miserable cold/coughing type viruses of my life. I wasn't even able to post for most of last week I was so ill. Now I'm catching up in the last few days while I get better. Hang in there, and post when you are able. I'm thankful you are reading. Peace ☮️
