This is just laughable, the whole thing.

"CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed in a new audio tape on Friday to have mobilized 12,000 fighters in the wartorn country.

Describing George W. Bush as "the most stupid president" in U.S. history, the al-Qaida leader reached out to the Muslim world and said his group was winning faster than expected in Iraq."

What a load of crap!

"his fighters will never rest until they have blown up the White House"

Have fun negotiating with that....

We don't need to negotiate with that. We just need to make sure those people don't step foot on American soil. That is done through securing our countries borders, not by fighting a global war against ideas.

It is impossible to stop and eliminate all terrorists that hate America. Even if ONE single terrorist is left alive you have to start all over and even if all die, you now have to worry about the new ones who are going to fight for vengeance against the elimination of the old ones.

Trying to eliminate terrorism is an endless battle that cannot be won. We can only try our best to dispel it from entering our country.

"Most stupid"? It sounds like they got Andy Kaufman as their spokesman.

I expect that these 12,000 will be cleaned up in a couple of weeks. I have faith in the troops.

lmfao and the Democrats intend to secure the border now? Oh that's right they don't intend on doing that at all and their voting record proves it.

I'm glad we have people like you who have the insider information on what the democrats are going to vote on before they even vote or announce what they will vote on.

Their voting record clearly shows where they stand on illegal immigration enforcement:

H.R. 4437

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search
House of Representatives bill 4437 (The Border Protection, Anti-terrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005) was passed by the United States House of Representatives on December 16, 2005 by a vote of 239 to 182. Passed House (92% of Republicans supporting, 82% of Democrats opposing) It is also known as the "Sensenbrenner Bill," for its sponsor in the House of Representatives, Wisconsin Republican Jim Sensenbrenner. This bill is currently under consideration by the United States Senate, after amendment by the Senate Judiciary Committee. H.R. 4437 was the catalyst for the 2006 U.S. immigrant rights protests and was the first piece of legislation passed by a house of Congress in the United States immigration debate. Its parallel bill in the Senate is the S. 2611, The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act.

The Democrats oppose really ending illegal immigration and support Amnesty:

Senate Bill 2611 (Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act) (abbreviated CIRA), is a United States Senate bill dealing with immigration reform. It proposes to increase security along the southern United States border with Mexico, allows long-time illegal immigrants to gain citizenship with some restrictions, and to increase the number of guest workers over and above those already present in the U.S. through a new "blue card" visa program. The sponsor of S. 2611 is Senator Arlen Specter, who introduced it on April 7, 2006. It was passed on May 25, 2006, by a vote of 62-36. Passed Senate (90% of Democrats supporting, 59% of Republicans opposing) Cloture was invoked, which limited debate to a 30 hour period. The parallel House Bill H.R. 4437 deals with immigration differently.

So do our so called allies the Saudies. Big deal.

Isn't Senate Bill 2611 Bush's hispanic vote getter from the '04 election?

Reading through the wikipedia pages you linked Democrats didn't vote for the first one because they wanted to revise it first to allow long-term workers to receive limited citizenship.

The second one, which democrats did vote for, introduced those changes.

This is called negotiations and is part of governmental process.

No the second one offered Amnesty and got rid of the fence. That's what Democrats are for Amnesty and no border control that is why the Reps didn't vote for it it wasn't a border control bill at all it was an Amnesty bill.
