As the world is shocked every day by the mounting death toll figures due to the coronavirus, at the same time there has been some news that brings some hope in such troubling times. A 104-year-old United States World War 2 veteran recovered from coronavirus just in time to celebrate his birthday with his family on April 1.

He was born in 1916 and survived the 1918 Spanish flu plague. He somehow managed to survive the COVID-19 infection. This clearly shows that his body is resistant to the viruses. Was his blood harvested to make inoculations? This would be grounds for making a vaccine.
